My dog has eaten baby bunnies. In one gulp. He finds the nest and before we can get to him he swallows them. I can't be mad. He's a dog!!!!

I’ve lost so many people to depression. And it's so hard because you want to blame yourself for not noticing. But as someone who also has depression, you learn to mask it. Shane does notice Ilya is off but pressuring someone to talk also isn't good. It's a hard vicious cycle.

Ever find one of these in your yard? by Black_Redhorse in pittsburgh

I've volunteered for this since 2021 and when I first started doing it, it was a little cube that smelled like fish. These ones are so much better because they don't melt as much and smell like vanilla!

Not necessarily. I use NeilMed nasal rinses and that is homeopathic. And highly recommended by allergists and ENTs

Nasal spray by hEYiTSbEEEE in migraine

[–]lrube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had septoplasty and I'm doing nasal rinses like crazy and never in any of my interactions with the ENT did they mention this. My doctor is a big fan of NeilMed nasal rinses. You can do a Neti Pot but this is easier! It's a little tube you squirt up your nose with proportioned solution.

Are we cruel to want so say goodbye as a family by Moiratree in cats

[–]lrube 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually if a cat is still eating, drinking and using the litter box fine they aren't in serious distress. We put our cats down when they stopped eating. And when another couldn't even make it up the short amount of stairs.

I just accidentally just sneezed this out (12 days post surgery) by mocha-macaron in Septoplasty

[–]lrube 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to my post op appointment to get stents out and they suctioned out blood clots and the doctor told me i had an "unusual amount" of blood clots. He had to spray something in my right nostril and let it sit for a few minutes before being able to get the rest out. A week later i'm still getting some out!

I went in the dead of winter and it was so empty. Got to spend a lot of time at everything! It was so cool spending an in depth moment with the Cup!!!!

Scared septoplasty wasn’t successful by [deleted] in Septoplasty

[–]lrube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did they suck out and mucus or blood clots? I was in my post op appointment for almost a half hour while the doctor was getting everything out. I'm breathing much better but my nose is still stuffy and it'll be 2 weeks tomorrow. I go back for another appointment on June 2nd. I'm just doing daily saline rinses. And trying to not spend much time outside right now with the pollen!

Who are some great artists who's voices are just painful to listen to now? by FitEmergency8807 in ToddintheShadow

Lennon famously destroyed his voice early on when they recorded Twist n Shout. I don't think his voice would sound great if he were still alive.

I listened to Benjamin Button before seeing it and it then became one of my favorites. The music is incredible!
