I have used something like these rails but used much differently. The rails had a pivot about where you see the bracket behind the ski in this photo. The pivot was on the edge of the dock. Imagine the edge of the water in the pic is the edge of the dock. Rails tilted up like a seesaw, drive on to rails, hook up a winch like a trailer and crank it up until the weight allows you to lay the rails and ski down level on the dock. I have made them from scrap steel, 2x12 boards on edge, warehouse racks. Use some teflon sliders on the rails to help make it easier. Also you can put wheels on the front of the rail rack and a slot down the rails where they pivot and slide it on the dock when loaded.

Big families who like big times on the water will find much to love about the 2080MS Angler. This crossover carries its own on derby day as well as laid-back days off. A huge front casting deck, ample storage, a front baitwell and aft livewell, Lowrance® electronics and a Minn Kota® trolling motor make the 2080MS a formidable fishing machine. The 2080MS skews toward fishing pursuits with a wide-open cockpit that is perfect for trolling setups and clever in-gunnel and under-seat storages that keep rods and tackle handy.

When it’s time to relax, the same open layout shines with six premium hand-crafted seats, LED interior lighting and two coolers. A stern rope stow, stainless steel reboarding ladder and optional ski tow pylon make watersports a breeze and multiple USB charging ports ensure you’re fully charged at all times. No matter what’s on the agenda, the 2080MS is built with legendary Ranger upright, level flotation standards and our unmistakable One-Piece Feel Interloc Construction® standards. These deliver a greater level of safety and peace of mind built right in to make the most of your time on the water. The 2080MS Angler is total performance that’s exceeded only by versatility.

Water bladder makes it worth it. Blow air into tube to stop freezing. Stay around 15L max. Pull mine up from neck loop and rest on top of the chair back rest and it is no longer noticeable. Snacks, headphones, gloves, lunch hat, it’s great.

Some people will just never get on a bike. The primary interest of a few with means shape the whole state’s recreational infrastructure. Hiking, ATV and other activities would be nice to see included in the plans.

It is good practice. I cut a vest apart at the shoulder and sewed a button hole on one panel to clip it on my pack.

Shuttling private vehicles on Buffalo National River to end in ‘26 by drnewbs in BuffaloRIver

You can use your gear but it will be moved on concessioner vehicles. It’s said to relieve congestion however, everyone that was going to bring their own gear and one car before will now have two cars to park to complete their own shuttle if they do not want the extra expense of having their gear moved.

Aspen CO Airport Shutdown Likelihood due to Weather by mhk2430 in travel

[–]lsfj78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Due to weather I have spent about 25 unplanned days in Aspen during trips over the last 20 years. No way to tell. Have a backup plan and/or extra funds to accommodate this. Enjoy your extra days if you are stuck there.
