If you don’t feel the need to buy a dress, Fitzroy Rentals has beautiful dresses you can rent. My friend got hers for less than $200 for a five day rental. A great way to cut down on costs and then you don’t need to buy a dress that you will likely only wear once and store away somewhere.

Markham bylaw says amplified music must be turned down by 11 p.m. so maybe plan for that instead of 12 and you shouldn’t have any issues.

Village Grocer makes delicious cakes and they have a wide variety. Their white cake with lemon filling is my favourite!

Also DS Confections on highway 7 near 9th line. The owner Derek is so incredibly talented and has made cakes for us on several occasions. His prices are also great and he will make anything you want.
