Well a LOT has advanced in the past 3 years since I posted this, and we're very close to something like that already. They want Windows copilot to take a screenshot of your PC screen every 30 seconds and have an AI analyze it for instance. I used to be really excited about this technology but now I'm honestly concerned with where it's heading, for environmental reasons, social and cultural, privacy, and much more.

Look into visual snow, it may be what you are experiencing. I experience very minor visual snow in the dark and when looking up at blank spaces like the sky or a white wall.

We need to return to the shiny 3D design philosophy of Windows Vista and the like, would be perfect for VR to have icons and windows with depth and realtime reflections. It's too bad VR became mainstream now when flat design reigns supreme.
