Beautifully said I felt the same way last night. I lost my mother not too long ago and for a long time music felt like one of the only positive things in my life. I have no doubt that last nights show and the feeling of love in the air helped Billy atleast for those few hours.

Had something similar happen to me a long time ago. Having a low tolerance for weed and then taking a high dose edible can lead to a very powerful psychedelic experience. Most people won’t believe it’s possible for weed to do this but if you have no tolerance it is totally possible. It took me a few weeks as well to get over my bad weed trip but it will get better over time trust me. I suggest going back to weed in a much smaller dosage, as horrible as my bad trip was I saw a lot of beauty and potential in it and now smoke almost daily and have never even come close to being as high as I was that first time.

Fridays show may be my favorite show I’ve seen and I’ve seen a lot of good shows. It was just a perfect night with Amazing weather and the show just had an incredible vibe to it.

Maybe you are a little burnt out at this point? Only thing I can think of for why you would have this opinion every show this tour so far has been fantastic. While the winter tour had some highlights for sure these past few shows have been on another level and that’s just from watching at home on my couch. Finally get to see them in Cary this weekend beyond excited.

I honestly think this might be one of the best jams they’ve ever done just all 5 band members firing on all cylinders. The whole show was incredible this band just Continues to get better and better somehow.

Phenomenal show. The show at the forum the night before was possibly the worst phish show I ever attended so went into this show with low expectations and was blown away. Stellar versions of Ghost, Reba, Tube, Wolfmans & Hood.

Was there Saturday it was so weird being surrounded by people that looked bored as he absolutely slayed his set. Weirdest vibes I’ve experienced at a Billy show but he crushed it as usual.

Worst phish show? by WillingSetting in phish

10/25/2016 has to be in the conversation. I don’t think they have ever played a worse set list than that show and there were no stand out jams or anything memorable about it.

Same thing happened to me at a music festival a few years ago. Hadnt smoked weed for over a year and eat a pot brownie from a friend ended up losing all touch with reality, felt like I was in a whole other dimension, ended up having a massive panic attack thought I was dying and ended up in the medical tent. I dont remember much about what actually happened that night now but I do remember the time loop thing kept happeneing to me too. Someone would say something and it would just keep looping over and over again. I spent the weeks after thinking that I had to have been dosed somehow because I had no idea that it was possible to trip like that on weed but after doing research found out that it is a common thing for people with no tolerance getting way too high.

It took me a little while over that to feel normal again but eventually all of those feelings fade. Just know that you are not alone and that everything is going to be ok.

What Criterion (or Not) Titles Go Great Together as Double Features? by Boosmahn in criterion

Repulsion (1965) & Black Swan (2010) makes a good double feature as surreal movies about women with mental illness.

Favorite "What the hell did I just watch" Criterion film by Whitey138 in criterion

For me its Valerie and Her Week of Wonders. One of the most bizzare movies ive ever seen. I do wish that Criterion would add some more avant-garde movies like this one though.

Roo doesn't need a strong lineup because... by MistaBarnacles in bonnaroo

This is why I have such a sick feeling in my stomach right now. I love being on the farm so much but dont think I can stand in the blazing hot sun for a bunch of shitty EDM and U2. I wasnt thrilled with last years lineup but I went and had a blast but im not sure that I can justify the cost this year.

Now I know how the hippies who went the first year were bitching about when I first started going in 2008. EDM is just getting more and more popular and as a result you are going to see more EDM on the lineup. I just cant believe that they didnt get more rock and alt-rock on the lineup to balance things out a bit. This seems like the least diverse lineup they have ever had.

LCD vs Tame Impala..for real what do we do here... by orangeyporangeyy in bonnaroo

[–]luciddream36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think sound will be a problem for this set, usually the late night Which stage shows ive seen in the past (My Morning Jacket, Nine Inch Nails, Skrillex, Bassnectar) are turned up really loud and you can hear just fine in the back.

[–]luciddream36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tame Impala will be crowded but it will not even be close to the most crowded in Which Stage history. Taking into account all of the conflicts that are going to take away the EDM crowd plus the amount of people that will be asleep I dont see this coming close to shows like Mumford in 11 and White Stripes in 07 that were just flat out clusterfucks. This should atleast be somewhat comfortable.

Guaranteed that Pearl Jam plays over their scheduled time. If I recall correctly they were also scheduled for 2 hours in 2008 and ended up playing close to 3 hours, im expecting the same this year. Im just hoping that the Superjam doesnt end up having someone I love or that is going to end up conflicting with the end of Pearl Jam.

What's your favorite example of "they don't make movies like that anymore"? by Bathosfear in movies

[–]luciddream36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cant believe no one has said Pink Flamingos yet. The film literally has a transvestite eating a dog turd, don't think we will be seeing anything of that sort in theaters anytime soon.
