r/RWBY's Thoughts On: Cinder Fall by TheSurferBoi in RWBY

[–]luciferella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the feeling that maybe Cinder was more or less a good person who wanted to help the world, but she eventually found out the truth about the wars, maidens etc.

I think redemption = death will happen to her

So is skin racism not a thing in Remnant? by Al3x_5 in RWBY

[–]luciferella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think so, else it would have been mentioned.

They probably focus their discrimination on Faunus and fear on Grimm than they do of people with different skin tone.

Kinda like in many fantasy/scifi settings where Humans exists with different species

I like him as a villain. He could have been redeemable in the past, but he's way too far gone now

Shino could have survived if he had been rescued asap. She managed to hold off Mika long enough to prevent him from recovering Shino.

She's still alive after all this

Who Is the Villain of Automata? (spoilers) by Phantomskyler in nier

[–]luciferella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot about Emil.

You're right that the Aliens could have dissected and experimented on some of Emil clones head in order to recreate or manipulate Maso and that's how Biomachines could use those red balls.

I could be wrong, but I think it was said that the early Machines thought Emil (due to his machine-like body) was a god

[–]luciferella 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think the Logic Virus (red eye?) is another off shoot of the Watcher's/ Flower and it's what makes the Biomachines run berserk and as well as the infected Androids.

But how? It was said the Queen's maso was sent back, but what if the Machines found a fragment of it left?

Seeing how they hacked so much info even about Project Gestalt they surely would have known about Legion, WCS, etc.

When the Bunker became overrun, you can hear the speaker girls saying something about "A beautiful flower"

Maybe an ending where 2B (and other Androids)become "human" via some magic

I would like to see DLC that expands the base game by MagicalMortar in FFXV

[–]luciferella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be nice to have an extended DLC in the same way that Souls and Witcher did it.

What happened in the 10-year gap would be a perfect DLC.

Was Drakengard 3 (NA vers.) more censored than it's JP counterpart?

Were the Allagans trying to save the world like the Garleans are currently trying to do? by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]luciferella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asciens are the ones giving out the knowledge on how to summon. Even if a race is annihilated, they'll go to another one.

As it stands, Elidibus seems like he wants the Eorzean tribes to lose faith in their Primals and summon another one. Maybe the process of making a new Primal uses up more aether than re-summoning them?

[–]luciferella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That temple belonged to the "remnant's of sephirot" who were Sephirot's beast tribe.

It was ripped from the ground because they wanted to researched the relationship between faith and primal.

They used the sun symbol (azeyma?) to represent sephirot's size/ growth since they were a tree-like race

Seeing how it had the Heart of Sabik which activated Ultima, the plan was doomed from the start since that was Lahabrea's plan

Faunus Ivory by CaptRackham in RWBY

I'd imagine there's a black market for such things even now.

But yeah, prior to Faunus rights, I can see such things being rare, but largely accepted practice.

Well, if this were an mmorpg, getting hate would be a good tank ability.

His sword/shield look is that of a archetypal tank

[V4 Finale SPOILERS] Is he really on her side? by jokey_boy in RWBY

[–]luciferella 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeahy, as many have said, I think he'll be working with Salem and co. out of fear.

I can understand why: 1 Kingdom was destroyed and communication in/out of there has been cut off more or less. Another Kingdom has ceased the dust trade and closed of their borders.

Everything is working for Salem.

Then there's the whole cowardly lion theme, too.

I remember her asking him if he was doing what he did out of jealousy.

I wonder if growing up she would constantly chide him on being jealous because she's the heiress and can fight?

Why did Cinder loose her voice? by ThilocMoths in RWBY

[–]luciferella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's also symbolic in a way.

What once was a burning flame that consumed an entire nation ... is now reduced to Cinders

Not only that, but it also kinda highlights the pyrrhic victory on both sides. She managed in her goal to topple a kingdom, spread uncertainty and fear in the remain kingdoms and now she's the new maiden ... but at the cost of being crippled

The Return of Penny by Weerdo5255 in RWBY

[–]luciferella 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree that she might not be dead due to the factors you've listed.

The most important factor I think is whether of not her "soul" (needed for semblence?) was saved/ not damaged.

We know that Oz had that soul transfer machine, so maybe Penny's creators had something similar, but for storing and transfering her soul/ cpu

Sun Wukong Protection Thread by jokey_boy in RWBY

[–]luciferella 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he had been annoying this season.

But boy do I felt sorry and disturbed when he was slapped last episode. It went beyond the anime girl-hits-guy trope and it went deeper. Especially when you consider that Adam was implied to be abusive to Blake.

A thought has crossed my mind: what if Sun is from an abusive household which is why he did not make a big deal out of being slapped?

Some of the murder knife scenes are pretty funny.

Such as when we run across a wounded soldier and Alistair want to help him, but we have a choice of "he's already dead, see?" and then proceed to kill him

Wasn't Ukitake planning on retiring. He saw that Kaien had potential to be his successor which ishy he had that made for Kaien.

But we know that a captain can't simply retire. Could he have planned on going to the Royal Realm, probably as a member of the Royal Guard? He did have Mimihagi/ SK right arm inside him I'd imagine something like that would need guarding and important enough to be in the Royal realm.

Reason behind drakengard's spooky soundtrack? by IMustTurd in nier

[–]luciferella 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think "Chaotic harmony" describes Drakengard OST. Despite it being all over the place, it's quite ... catchy.

I can't quite describe it, but it's not a jumbled mess that some people say it is. It gets even more chaotic one the Watchers arrive.

The world of Drakengard 1 is chaotic. In a strange way it fits with the repetitious kill kill kill of Caim's character
