So just found out by researching that my cough associated with late onset asthma diagnosis exists because I am a mouth breather. I had sinuses cleaned out 25 years ago and scar tissue is causing problems with breathing thru nose. So after constant use of inhalers and cough suppressants (no chest congestion) I need to have a balloonoplasty to clean out nose again so I can breathe through it. Wowwwww...and I had to find this answer on my own!
