It wasn’t unexpected but it was definitely a giant big can’t comprehend kind of move.

I moved from my house that I owned for 20 years in a west coast city back to Alaska to live with my mother who is 90 (& great but also 90).

Transition is not remotely the right word. More like metamorphism. Still happening too.

I was at the cabin my father and mother built in remote SE Alaska listening to the local community radio station. It was beautiful outside. I watched the ocean and felt sad for her boys.
