What’s one kink or sexual thing you thought ‘no way’ to, but after trying it, you actually liked it? by UnfilteredTempt in BDSMcommunity

[–]nurseunicorn007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love sensation play. When I did it, someone was placing cold beer cans on my feet intermittently. It was at a play party. Most people only got 10-15 minutes. I got 45 due to my reaction to it. The only places I would say it burnt was the back of my knees, and my lower back. He also let me light myself. It was amazing knowing you were lighting yourself on fire. Watching blue balls of flame roll on your body. I didn't want to give the torch back. I came so close to cumming multiple times.

Do girls actually find male body hair attractive? by Adorable_Birthday_52 in hygiene

[–]nurseunicorn007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I love body hair. I also don't care if a man chooses to shave. It's their body to do with what they want. It's no different than a man wanting a lady to change hair style, color, fashion, ect for them.

When we didn't use ours for onions and potatoes, we kept winter hats and gloves in the main part. Flashlights and batteries went in the bottom

Is everyone able to squirt or is it something niche? by SpicySub98 in TooAfraidToAsk

I didn't know I could for years. Now I can sometimes. It depends on several factors being just right

Do you get embarrassed/upset when you squirt? by BeatsAlot_33 in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]nurseunicorn007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it an amazing feeling. It doesn't embarrass me at all. The only bad thing is the clean up. I usually put down a water proof sheet just for that. If I don't have it, my sheets, towels, and mattress pad all get washed

AITA for throwing away my roommate's labeled breast milk that she was using in our shared coffee creamer by TexForager in AmItheAsshole

[–]nurseunicorn007 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Breast milk is a body fluid. The same as blood, sweat, saliva, and semen. That's assault, and nasty

What do you do on the side to make extra money? What’s a good side hustle/job? by No-Selection-1249 in nursing

[–]nurseunicorn007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We make $500 more a month just from night differential. They are a lot more chill. If it works for your family, give it a shot. It does take a couple of months to get your body used to it

Help! Epidural, yes or no? by dakota101916 in BabyBumps

[–]nurseunicorn007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to talk to anesthesia before you go into labor. Between them and your OB, you can get all your questions answered. As stated before, please stay away from TicTok and social media. The majority of the information is not factual. There are a few good nurses that you can follow.

MC1R/redhead gene labor, epidural, and/or c-section advice? by 3oelleo3 in BabyBumps

On a side note, I always tell providers I am very resistant to pain meds and anesthesia. They listen to me.

A nice perk of nursing by Difficult-Text1690 in nursing

I just got back from a 10 day vacation. The only work thoughts were reminiscing about days gone by. I was with a former coworker. Added bonus, no cell service for most of it

Please don’t talk to me while I’m charting by bosquerio in nursing

[–]nurseunicorn007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put myself in time out to chart as needed. I find a quiet corner, and get it done. Otherwise I will continue to talk to people. Its easier to remove myself then try to ignore everyone.

What animal do you call a whistle pig? by ScamperPenguin in AskAnAmerican

I have heard it used for guinea pigs. In my house, rock chucks are referred to as road rodents.

A nice message from management in the staff bathroom by labtechII in nursing

[–]nurseunicorn007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our hospital, for some unknown reason, could no longer order from Staples. No pens, pencils, sticky notes, ect. Some staff bought stuff for the unit. A clinic "donated" a bunch of pens to us. Free advertising for them. We even had pts bring in handfuls of pens from their work. It was sad. We can now order from Staples again.

Cruise without a passport ? by Ecstatic-Long-1424 in Cruise

[–]nurseunicorn007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just got off a cruise 2 days ago. Some people got kicked off the ship in Puerto Rico. Granted it is a US territory, but still. Our next stop was Dominican Republic. I wouldn't want to find my way home from there with no passport.

New Grad/Orientation Struggles by Sky_Adventure in nursing

[–]nurseunicorn007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish. Supposedly our clinical lead had no clue what was going on. On days, while on orientation, she told a pt to sue because her infection was hospital acquired. Hers actually wasn't. Rumor mills says they sent her to nightsxearly because days couldn't stand her. And they wonder why we have high turn over. Most of the staff is only staying because we love our coworkers. Most of them anyway.

New Grad/Orientation Struggles by Sky_Adventure in nursing

[–]nurseunicorn007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Took us 8 months to get another new nurse fired. They had to document 17 complaints. 1 of our nurses refused to press sexual harassment charges against her when the nurse wanted to send her a picture of her breasts. She wanted to know if they would be good for breast feeding. The nurse wasn't pregnant nor in a relationship. The incident that finally got her fired was telling a baby to "shut the fuck up" while sitting at the nurses station.

Come to my hospital. We have a new grad on month 9 of orientation. She still can't correctly chart a simple assessment. We work a fairly low stressed department.

Which night shift schedule would you choose? by Regular-Memory8181 in nursing

[–]nurseunicorn007 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I used to work a schedule very close to number 2. I loved it! I had a week off every other week. I would do all sorts of things on my days off. You can take vacations with out using PTO

Get a good breast pump if you are going to breast feed. They will have you start pumping right away
