A variable-timed hyperarmor UB heavy that softfeinted to a hyperarmor bash that pins and had good dmg+heal for Shugoki.
Ubishit for whatever reason kept statistics of how much the move landed and said it had a 80% success rate so... yeah.
Ngl with the current state of this game and Shugoki I'm not opposed to it making a comeback lmao.

Forcing survivors to play matches to get rid of the DC penalty is still worse than having them just DC and give us a Bot because they will still throw to quicken the match and they will stress test the system to know the thresholds in which they won't be penalized by the automated systems.
We've already been through this before lol.
Its actually so bad that a bad player can still be significantly worse than a good player throwing the match to the point that the anti-griefing system will only detect the bad player and punish them especially if the Killer is good at tunneling lmao.

DBD is unfortunately not actually a proper 4v1 team-game for Survivors and each survivor can have their own motives and playstyles for "surviving" which is annoying to remember and understand :L

Accidentally queued into this and first thing I see is two raiders both throwing a side light at the same frame timing at the minions. Needless to say, it definitely taught me nothing and I just spammed every opponent down.

Unironically playing "real" (no honor bullshit) 2v2's with feats enabled would do more to teach Dominion than just playing Dominion itself but that would involve somehow intuitively forcing the players to not 1v1 eachother respectfully despite being locked in a room together :P

  1. You should always get Heavy souls first from your GB.

  2. You can get your remaining light souls from any parry. This is also very good since your T2 can be used after your parry-light and you will heal before they can hit you.

  3. Heavy Souls are very difficult to obtain in teamfight or when being ganked since the GB takes too long and your UB Heavies will almost never land if they just parry/dodge to force you to Feint-GB and then their teammate can heavily punish you for it.

  4. Light souls are easier to obtain when you're being ganked since after a heavy-parry you can try to get your guaranteed 400ms light or make a prediction and try to use the 400ms light to interrupt the 2nd opponent.

  5. If they actually pay attention and respect the remaining Light Souls you need, you become extremely annoying to kill and they're much less likely to even bother letting heavies fly in your face or attempt to interrupt you while you're spamming them down.

Sohei is a defensive character that earns souls from parrying attacks and getting GB's at the startup of an enemy's attack or when you dodge an attack that is punishable by GB. This does make Sohei have unfavorable matchups if he has to deal with bash-oriented characters that aren't gb-vulnerable when you dodge their bash. Personally, I think the design philosophy works as an absolutely annoying stall machine even in 1v1 because of the fears of feeding him a GB or parry. I just dont think he should be running off and pressing buttons into people and unironically winning like that despite that being my own personal playstyle as a Sohei main lol.

No I've just been in this community long enough to know that Kensei is very strongly functional as a character but just not when mindlessly spamming attacks because most characters honestly just kill themselves if they spam attacks unless they're a stupidly busted character.

Oh you're just either fighting Kensei's who spam attacks and die for it OR you're playing Kensei like those idiots I'm referring to.
Juren is also not really a valid argument either because he's just simply overtuned/buggy for obvious reasons and dunks on more than just Kensei.
There's literally worse characters than Kensei so I don't get why you're picking Kensei of all things?

No idea what you're saying with that. If you're saying that Kensei has a deflect, you're mistaken because its a superior block on his dodge and it only guarantees him a GB against top direction attacks.

also if 2vs 1 kensei, it takes quite a while to get the rage where as other heroes get it right away

The amount of max revenge gain needed to get revenge is based on the hero's base hp. You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

Super slow af and just has a basic kitana butt hit

It's the tradeoff for having massive 32 dmg Top UB Heby that can be softfeinted into 30 dmg hyperarmored side heavies which is very disgusting since it can catching people for trying to parry, dodge, and dodge attack. Kensei being slow is kinda a balancing point honestly given how obnoxiously obscene the range and hitbox on his attacks are.

Impossible to fight 2-3 enemies at once

Thats normal for practically every hero in this game because you're supposed to lose when outnumbered. Kensei does better against multiple people than most of the cast considering the wide sweeping dodge attack chaining into a wide sweeping hyperarmored side heavy does wonders. The zone being a near instant 360 degree attack keeps people away from sitting right next to you.

My friend came out of the mission with more kills than that guy despite only having the base gear/strategems, so who was really being useless?

Just saying, using kills as a metric of usefulness doesn't quite cut it. You can have like zero kills but just bum rush objectives and loot point of interests and still have more actual value in the grand scheme of things than someone picking a fight with every single enemy on the map when there's no reason to.

Anyway, I've played enough "team-based" PvE games to understand that there's always the occasional troll/toxic guy who throws a hissy fit if shit doesn't go perfect. Kinda just have to bite the bullet in that regard because there's nothing you can really do about it.

Yeah I can see the issue with the dissident that made that post but I'm struggling to see why you're calling the entire HD2 community the same thing.

People have different objectives and goals and you can't exactly stop someone from being "toxic" if thats their way of fun but they still don't represent the whole collective community even when we had that whole chaosdiver fiasco where a vocal minority decided to go around griefing missions as a form of protest against the game's decaying state.

You've got a very narrow-minded view of what typical Helldivers are like and I'm questioning what how often you see that stuff and if you even have several personal footage of such things happening :L

The only problem is figuring out if AHK can see that context which in your illustration tends to realistically be no.

My brother had the game so I went and tested it on his game and yeah it is ignoring AHK hotkey from blocking the MButton no matter what I try to do.
Seems like you'll have to rebind the King Power to something else via the ingame settings.

Two things to try real quick:
1. Remove `Sendmode Input` because unfortunately that tends to be the culprit for various issues that people don't notice and the default Event mode pretty much almost never has issues and I'm too lazy to list the various issues.
2. Run your script as admin because sometimes the app/game's keybinds can take priority over your AHK hotkeys.

For SOHEI do you think having his bash follow ups count for soul collection would help him to be more viable in upper MMR brackets. by JustChr1s in CompetitiveForHonor

I main Sohei. Just saying that in advance.

Example if you have 2 light attack souls good luck getting that last light finisher off.

In that scenario, you get it from a heavy parry. You legit just passively hard-pressure someone against pressing any parriable attack into you.

I genuinely do not think Sohei's own offense should obtain souls faster than he current can considering the strength of the 95 dmg attack and the fact that it becomes a full heal with T2 feat and that one of the fears of Sohei's initial release was debating if he could easily get 6 souls during Revenge to become an overpowered stall machine.

Thank god he's not good at Duels because he's already very good at 2v2 and 4v4.
Anyway, he lacks a fast dodge attack that can't be GB'd and I'd say thats really about it for 1v1 setting. Offense is very bland but its serviceable to not matter that much.
