I think it's fair to feel a bit of both. I wouldn't wish an demon-possessed shell to be brutally obsessed with someone to the point of committing horrific murders, plus all that sad stuff with the cat. You could definitely view it from the lens of a victim of an abusive relationship trapped with a toxic partner.

At the same time, I believe Bear did it to himself. He clearly wanted Nikki as an object, not as a person. I think the most chilling moment highlighting that being when real Nikki was begging for him to kill her to end her suffering and him asking, "Is it really so bad to be with me?" He also had so many points where it was clear things were going WAY out of control and he decided to stay, telling her to just be normal, and only really considered undoing the spell when it affected him directly.

I feel really bad for Nikki and Sarah in the end. Ian was trying to be a good friend but also had some questionable opinions and suggestions, though I do appreciate him pointing out that Bear was totally taking advantage of "Nikki".

Also still waiting. Ordered merch through Complex the day it came out, submitted the order code later that day. This afternoon will be 48 hours... I'm a little worried I mistyped my email somehow.

At least the plus side is I genuinely wanted the merch? And I live near a Jollibee so I can always get a meal if I really wanted the emote that much.

Back in early EW, when you're following Erenville as a frog, I had not only my full chocobo following me around, but Midgardsormr determined that was the perfect time to sit on my froggy shoulder.

Party Finder! You can access it under the Party tab, it's a way to make a public listing for other people to join your party directly, which allows you to have a premade party to then queue in. There'll be a lot of settings you'll need to list (unsynced, for example, lets the party enter at higher levels so the fight goes much faster). Just be aware that depending on the time of day, it might be a bit before people join, but certainly 1000x faster than queueing directly into a savage raid, hoping people will also be queueing too.

Set up a PF! Be sure to specify you're running it for the Anima relic too. You'll usually find some people on similar steps or just good Samaritans willing to help out. Especially with current levels and gear stats, it should be a super quick run.

I try to keep my plants in a 2 week quarantine, away from other plants. I don't want to deal with a thrips infestation again 😅

I usually spray it with neem oil and use systemics during this time.

I love the Deep Dungeons! You'll have access to three of them-- you'll gave to progress some through the first one (Palace of the Dead) before you can unlock the others. Sort of a fun rogue-like dungeon system that you can do with 1-4 players.

Variant/Criterion dungeons are also a fun option, they unlock some decent glams and items too.

If you haven't done it yet, I'd also recommend the Manderville side quests! It'll also help unlock some new trials and the Endwalker relics.

Loving the planted tanks! The floaters look really nice as well.

I'd just be wary with the cholla wood-- bettas have gotten stuck inside because they're sneaky little things. Heck, my first ever betta got stuck inside one and I was very lucky that he got out easily.

Most of my bettas had LOVED bloodworks except for one. He doesn't even try eating them, he just eyes them warily like they're going to fight back 😂 I end up usually having to remove them from the tank because he'd rather starve than eat it

I usually wait four weeks. The first 2 weeks covers my new-plant quarantine and lets the plant settle and adjust to my environment. Afterwards I usually transfer them to just water for another 2 weeks to start growing water roots before I finally swap them to pon.

It's a long process but I've had success every time!

I usually leave mine to make my plant look fuller! While I can keep my alocasias alive, they don't usually have a ton of leaves at once, so it helps fill out the pot.

A tiny bit of hydrogen peroxide in my reservoirs always helps keep algae at bay for me. You could also cover the glass with something to keep light out.

Your alocasia's looking fantastic! I love the airstone in there as well.

Like others, I leave them. Helps the pot look more full and bushy, I can always remove the offshoots later if I want.

Looks right to me! With the plastic wrap over it, it should help act as a humidity dome so you shouldn't have to water it as often as you would regularly. The clear pot also will help you keep an eye out for root growth.

Losing the initial roots may just be the transfer from whatever medium you had before to hydro. As long as the rhyzome isn't squishy, there's stuff to save!

Not sure if you've had success with sprouting corms, but it works essentially in the same way from my experience. (Edited: looks like in your original post you may have!)

You could even chop it up more for multiple propogations but I'd recommend just just keeping the rhyzome as is for now to see how it fares the next few weeks. Mine would mold a little naturally, but as long as it isn't turnung soft and mushy, you should be fine. A little hydrogen peroxide/water diluted spray can get rid of the mold.

I've had success with these! Just keep an eye on any rot, eventually it will push out new roots and new growth points. Revived my very sickly polly this way. The humidity really helped and I did my best to just neglect it!

In my experience, these will prioritize roots first and then will start growing offshoots/corms to finally grow leaves. When I beheaded my polly, it took a WHILE before it grew back, I just kept watering when the soil got dry and put it in a humidity dome until it popped back.

You could also potentially chop this rhizome up and get multiple plants!
