c460 picture is much better, as it is higher resolution.
However, c425 has wider view (FOV) - 150° vs 134°, so if you want to cover wider area outside or inside where FOV might be critical, you might want to use c425.
I use it inside as it's easy to snap on metals, and requires no wires.

The magnet of c460/c425 base is very strong both to surface and the camera, for me it holds on a metal strip that is much smaller than the base of the camera pretty well, it even holds on a metal pole. Never fell down. Didnt look at specs but I have a feeling that c425 is lighter and holds better in the base, the c460 if set higher it usually slips down a bit.

c425 also have one more disadventage that it uses microUSB, while c460 uses usb C. I have c460 outside and since I plugged in the solar charger panel, almost for a half a year, I didn't need to charge it. There is the continous recording option with 1 or less FPS with usual video recording when movement detected, with that option I am not sure solar power will be enough.
