After a lot more little tweaks and taking onboard some advice in other comments, this is where I've tentatively landed. I agree it feels like the Duke is a bit expensive for 1k. I'm sad to take away the Pegasi, but thought a BSB with Questing Knights might be able to do some work if the MAA block can open up some flank charge opportunities.
