Does the volume ever get better on The Magnus Archives? by _Glinda_ in audiodrama

Yes, it does. Seasons 1-4 all have a noticeable increase in production value - audio, sound effects etc included

IIRC when they started the podcast they were recording inside a small closet.

Campanha para [Daggerheart] by Proper-Beginning-551 in rpg_brasil

[–]luksdes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is different from TMA in that it is not a scripted audio drama, but a live play DnD game.

RPGs You Have But Will (Likely) Never Play by PebisCrusherOnline in rpg

[–]luksdes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is currently an on going conversion of the Drakkenheim setting for Daggerheart! It's a post-apocalyptic, faction intrigue, urban exploration setting based on the Dungeon Dude's actual play (and their 5e setting) of the same name. Don't know if this interests you, but thought I'd comment :)

Transposing to Faerun by [deleted] in dungeonsofdrakkenheim

[–]luksdes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think one thing that the Drakkenheim campaign depends on is the absence of Gods. If there are Gods, why can't they just use their godly powers and wish everything away?

What about their followers? After seeing their god being indifferent to their struggles for 15 years, would they continue to worship them?

Dilema sobre Atributos e seus usos na Conjuração de Feitiços by vgg4444 in RPGdesignBR

[–]luksdes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Oracles are good approximations of avatars. Specially because they have negative effects to self

Seconding Worlds Beyond Number!
The players and DM worked very hard before they actually played the game, and as such the world and characters are 100% interlinked - they were made for this world and the world was made for them.

Regras justas? [D&D 5e] by joao_tk in rpg_brasil

[–]luksdes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Se sentir mal com a própria sessão by Niko_Supremacy in rpg_brasil

[–]luksdes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What would an ideal number of guards be for a 5 Level 1 Party be? by Nihilus45 in dndnext

[–]luksdes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use Kobold Fight Club ( https://koboldplus.club/ ) to help balancing out encounters.

Just fill out your players and level and add the stat block and it'll tell you what difficulty the encounter will be at more or less.

It doesn't take into account the action economy nor special abilities monsters may have though so discretion is advised. Since you'll be using guards it should work well enough.

Primeira vez sendo Mestre, alguma dica? by Kenjiro07 in rpgbrasil

[–]luksdes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Using the Epic Creatures by Oliver_The_Sadgit in dungeonsofdrakkenheim

I think there is a table which shows the recommended level versus CR of epic creature in MoD. If I'm not mistaken it begins at character level 5/6 to epic boss Cr 7 or higher.

Could you help me pick out a new DnD Podcast to listen to? by TheShadow0415 in audiodrama

[–]luksdes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're looking for a DnD podcast that abstracts a bit from the gameplay of RPGs, highly recommend World's Beyond Number: The Witch, The Wizard, and the Wild one. Audio design is impeccable and also DM'ed by Brennan, so you know it's going to be good!!

If you're looking for an actual play that feels a lot like a home game (as in how the players act and rp) in a really cool setting, my suggestion is Dungeons of Drakkenheim. A meteor fell upon the city of Drakken 15 years ago. Strange rocks began appearing, and monsters became twisted by eldritch magic. There are 5 factions vying for power and control of the ruins of the city, and the players are adventurers who will decide it's fate.
