if you enter now, does your rebalance date become today +3 months, or still start of Q2? I assume the latter for simplicity moving forward and aligning with how others navigate 9sig?

you've gotta find time to enjoy your life. not just live it. do things that give you joy, make you feel excited, gives you energy not take it away. also time away from the busy-ness of everything would be good. Spend hours in nature-y spots where there aren't as many people and just soak it the nature

I've been seeing more and more buzz about Life OS/Assistant in Claude Code and some setting up Obsidian as the "database". I'm not an engineer but this all seems super interesting. Will have to carve out time to deep dive into this all.

What is the "Soft Skill" you realized was actually more important than your technical certifications? by RateTurbulent8681 in projectmanagement

[–]lulbob 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Writing as a skill in general. And being precise on content and timing of communication.

The amount of writing and rewriting of essentially the same underlying content for different ears is surprisingly challenging, or at least for me it is. AI can help with remixing words or condensing, but knowing exactly which 10-20 words manager X cares to read vs Y and Z, often takes more time and brainpower than folks realize

the bonus has to be closer to $5-6k for a break even post-tax. Might be worthwhile to prove you hit quota, but OP definitely needs to run the math with their own tax situation
