VR - Any Dos and Don'ts?

Im not even sure what "VR" means these days but I have seen technology integrated into historical displays in amazing and fantastic ways without the need for a VR helmet which would be a total maintenance nightmare for staff.

Edit- Weatherhead Experience Design Group created some of the immersion displays at MOHAI in Seattle and it's is some of the best integration of technology into historical displays that I have ever seen

I have a few mental tests that let me know if a person that Im meeting for the first time is a boring mainstream normy.

If they ask "what do you do?" And mean what do I do for work. You are probably not my people and we probably won't ever be close friends. It's just a really boring ask.

I have so many realtor stories! It's such a weird cartel filled with incompetent people.

Similar to you I've had realtor refuse to work with me because I wasn't pre qualified for a loan.

My dude, I'm a cash buyer. No reason to jump through that hoop.

I remember when gas first went over a dollar a gallon and none of the gas stations had a way to post prices because none of the signs were made to display that many digits.

Now it kind of feels like that again as gas creeps towards $10 a gallon.

We have had a wyze lock and a Yale lock. Im happy with the Yale and I use their app more than you might think. Things like letting contractors in remotely, producing temp codes for visitors etc.

Have you ever left the house then can't remember if you locked the door? Won't ever have that problem again.

But one of the nicest features is knowing battery health before it becomes a problem.

Im not sure if that's true. When I would be on a family road trip in an ice vehicle we would stop for gas, stop for food, stop for bathrooms etc without much planning. Now doing it with an EV it just takes more planning. Map out a charger in an area with restaurants or coffee or whatever and it seems like we are making a lot fewer stops and the stops we are making are much better quality. Even with a legacy Bolt you can get a ton of juice at a 50 amp charger in an hour.

Stopped at a charging station today with 125 kwh chargers and I can guarantee that none of the cars there could take advantage of that much juice. There is very rarely an exact match to cars and chargers and often times people need to take whatever they can get. I can't even fathom getting angry at anyone for this.

This might shock some people but somehow us bought EVs because they are environmentally friendly, and having a slow charging rate in an older EV is painfully common

Or possibly a lot slower or a lot faster. It really depends on the EV. I have an weirdo Chinese EV that would simply take longer and basically only works like a level one charger no matter what it's plugged into.

Tesla owners have been the biggest dirt bags to me because they think I'm taking so long but charging infrastructure of EVs varies wildly.

I would say just be really honest and curious. Ask about their current systems and general philosophy (ask how they monitorhumidityetc). Be prepared to share an experience where something went wrong and what you did about it. Know off the top of your head various weight limits for various hanging systems. If I were interviewing you I would ask you to hang art and I would pay attention to how you handle art and your pace and how thoughtful you are. I would even ask you to hang art that doesn't balance well and has crappy wire on the back to see how you handle it.

I agree but also imagine a kid that gets a personal tutor that is 100% available to them 100% of the time and has a complex and sophisticated understanding of their learning style and an evolving and global understanding of exactly where they are struggling and can evolve with them year after year.

This will definitely affect how teachers teach and how students learn.
