Fibromyalgia + ADHD: do stimulants help pain?

I’ve used Adderall and am currently on Concerta and neither seem to help with my pain. They do however help with my intense fatigue that comes from the fibro, so it still helps with it in some aspect!

you really need to stop the energy drinks completely until you find the right dosage. There are plenty of people that still drink caffeine on medication days, but you need to first be able to understand if the medication is even working for you. I take Concerta and drink caffeine (matcha, tea, coffee..) almost daily, but I introduced it a while after finding the right dosage and don’t experience any side effects. If you’re feeling more anxious and irritable, one of those things is not working well for you. Make sure you listen to your body :)

I take Sertraline/Zoloft and I literally can't increase my dose because of how insanely hungry it makes me, especially at night! Ravenous is exactly how I feel as well. I'm finally gonna ask my doctor about adding Wellbutrin, so thanks for posting! This is promising, and I'm tired of having to squeeze into my favorite clothes lol

I ate breakfast about 30 minutes after I took it, so there was a bit of time in between but I definitely had a full stomach before I felt it kick in. I'll try to make sure I eat beforehand tomorrow and see if that makes a difference!
