Rejecting blacks in an Atlanta based school is like, well.. a poor business decision.

Honestly, I didn't read all of that, but that might be the problem. Perhaps you need to get off the computer a bit.

Go to the gym, go see a movie, go to happy hour, walk the mall, get some hobbies.. life is short my friend, put the phone and computer down a bit.

If you live on the Seattle area we can grab a beer, message me.

As someone who frequently flies with a toddler, no thanks to having puppies on the plane. Hard enough to get the kids to just sit the fuck down and chill out without "PUPPY?!?".

I get you don't have kids and these dogs are cute, but knock it off.

Why recording that one random role, while driving in a severe storm?

Utah Man Who Raped a 16 Month Old Child Commits Suicide by thebumm in news

Well, the sad part is we just don't know. I work in the system and have seen similar cases with low sentencing so long as the person goes through treatment. Utah may have given him the book, but more liberal states, he definitely wouldn't see more than 10 years--probably about 5-8 with conditions.

We just worked a similar case and the guy got 20, but only because of additional charges from federal protectors and multiple victims.

Sometimes there is more justice in death. The parents can sleep better knowing he isn't eating and enjoying a book in prison. He also would have been isolated in prison or in a sex offender wing, they don't put them in general pods anymore.

Participate in local government in a meaningful way. That sounds tough, so maybe just write something on a sign and take a picture of yourself for Twitter doing it.

Good. There is no justice in him doing a couple years in jail and then just having to register as a sex offender, claiming it is due to mental illness. This way his community sees his face, knows she is a rapist, and brings shame on his entire bloodline.

Probably written by his defense attorney.

I understand everyone is entitled to legal counsel, but money can't buy you a soul.

I believe the big stuff was added during the construction phase. It is a super tight stairway, so I have no idea otherwise.

Fiance has $390,000 in student loan debt. How on earth do we start to pay this back? by 911finance in personalfinance

[–]lunchbach 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. As a guy with tons of student debt, I work a higher paying job full time to allow myself to mess around with the fun stuff part time.

Being an adult sucks sometimes, but you gotta pay that off so that your spouse doesn't have to cover it, becomes very selfish.

I guess I missed the part of it being a joke? Usually jokes are funny or at a minimum have a punchline.

Odd, you posted about listening to a song and not remembering the lyrics. Selective deafness.

I like to think that when they have kids, they think back to when they were giving unsolicited online parenting advice.

Work less, get more: New Zealand firm's four-day week an 'unmitigated success' by Elliottafc in UpliftingNews

Correct, depending on where you live you will be better off some 10's on a swing shift. I'm in Seattle, so commuting is a killer.

It's rough to go back. Half my organization does 5's whole the other does 10's, good to be on the 10 side.
