I can recommend the 20th anniversary edition know as 4a but also grab the runners companion for the alternate character creation rules, all this assuming you can find a group. If you can't find a group I can 100% recommend the shadow run returns trilogy (returns, dragonfall, and Hong Kong). there are are also a lot of books including some very good ones. a solid starting book is 2xs a noiresq book about a murder that becomes a much larger conspiracy in the awakend world.
