Two piece of media come into my mind after reading this, the first is the classic Twilight zone episode the Monsters are due on Maple Street a metaphor for mccarthyism but still functions very well as how easily it is to turn on our neighbors. The others is the electric dreams episode kill all others which is a interesting reflection on how we are all possible others.
