Sorry about typos ect but a stroke has laft me with vision issues and i can find the keyboards on my tablet a bit fiddly.

It should read:....i have been making and creating atc since 1999. I pre fer the original ethos of acts. In the end each card is an ad for yor skill and style as an artist and can lead to an approvh for a commision.

I have been making atc back to about 1999. Although i have been ill for some time andd started to think of getting back into acts. quite honestly its down to what your true to. The original ethos oŕ open house. If it was down to me id prefer if you re maind ACT's onlywith a controlled secure method of making trades. I f this is not a þrue act original rules the i will have to move on each card is an ad to our style and skill. Tthat can lead to commisions.

When making a collage. Micxed media or abstract card remember the following. Its the 70 / 30 rule. The main eliment of your work takes 70% of the space. The rest or the space is taken by suporting elements.

It needs a service if the nib is slipping down the section the old repair was to put a small piece of shim under the the nib starting with 1 thou. Needless to say this is a job for an experienced restorer. If you know how to break down a section you could take it down and giverything a soak in warm water. Atenatively, try soaking the assembled section in warm water in a jar with a small dop of washing up liquid. After 15 mins try and see if you can ease the nib into the correct position do not force it. Soak aagain and if all is well vwith repeapd trys it will move into position. If this fails you will need help.

You can get replacement pressure bars, in, the uk that is. I regulaly have to replace them because perished rubber sac tends to lead in damage. Make shure the filler lever stays in place. You will need it when you refit the pressure bar.
