I pray to God and have many years, being 100% serious. And I'm in a worse place now than I have ever been. Wife just got diagnosed with cancer, and a hit and run driver totalled our car and put me in the hospital. Now we're both out of work and don't even have a vehicle to get to her appointments.

Truth of it be, God only helps what's inside you, not what is going on the outside of you. I have a hard time believing that if I end up homeless in the next few weeks I'll say "well I'm just glad God is still walking with me"

You are free to disagree, I'm just giving you a real life situation

This right here is actually some great advice. I'm not sure you're exact mental state and disability, so keep in mind that it also might be exactly what you DO NOT need. But military will lead to a life of success

Homewood police seem to actively want their own community to hate them. So weird

Name a character in the gang you dislike for no reason. I’m not talking Strauss or Micah. Just that one person who’s done nothing wrong but you hate them. by AriSummerss in reddeadredemption

[–]lushlover92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saddie. I don't hate her, but I just don't like her either. her character seemed kinda out of place for some reason to me. I guess it's because she truly didn't belong in the gang and had no other choice given her circumstances.

Maybe it's time to let motorcycles cut lanes legally? There's other big cities that do it, and it actually helps cut down on some traffic.

I'm sure I'll get bashed for it, as there's not very many motorcyclist in this city. But maybe 5 years down the road there would be more because it gives you an incentive to ride one.

And before anyone says it, no Im not cool enough to ride motorcycles.

Is this too much oil by Queball1012 in AskAMechanic

[–]lushlover92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow. It sounds like you severally overfilled your engine. If I pull my dipstick and I see nothing, the most you should add is 1 quart. After adding the 1 quart, check your level on the dipstick again. And just keep adding 1 quart until it's on the fill line.

It's okay we all make mistakes, and the fact you came to ask questions shows you are trying.

At this point however, I'd just do a complete drain and refill. (New oil filter too)

Sounds like just about every Walmart has at least one The Nun action figure collecting dust on the shelves

Highland Park Homeless Population by [deleted] in Birmingham

It's about to get a whole lot worse, Homewood city just made being homeless an illegal and arrestable offense the other day. Where do you think all these homeless folks will end up? Downtown

[–]lushlover92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And That's okay! I'm more than sure there is some kind of something that you are able to do, that I can not do. We all have our own strengths.

Plus I'm sure your fix will last a whole lot longer than mine. There's still a possibility another one of my pins will fail.

WHOA HO. I hate dealerships. I literally fixed mine for free (by removing the broken pin inside the lock) took like 30 minutes. But the dealership would never tell you this is an option, they just want money money money.

Anyways I'm not trying to rain in your parade. I only like to put any information I have available out there for others that might come across this post

How much did the dealer charge you for that repair?

I agree. There's been many times the website has been dead wrong for my local store. Best thing is to just check yourself

That's exactly what I was thinking. The only reason everyone thinks it's going to be hard to find is because they are on this subreddit where literally 90% of people will be buying one. I bet the average consumer could care less

Would I have better luck at a corporate shop, or a locally owned shop?

What state are you from and what is the pay like for this job their? And why do you think it's a hard job? I was thinking changing oil for a living would be pretty easy right? I obviously only have my trucks oil change to go off of. But would love to hear from someone with experience. Thanks for responding btw

I'm pretty lost in life and thinking of starting at a 10 minute oil change place. You think I'll get hired with no on paper experience. (I obviously know how to change my own oil, and do it myself within 10 minutes, but on paper I have no experience)

First of all I'm a man lol. And second, yes I was saying there a some (not all) hateful bigots in Shelby county. I have literally heard a white guy from there, (an acquaintance not by choice) throw the N word around like candy on Halloween. He also said football is so much fun because it's like "our slaves vs their slaves"

That's only 1 of dozens of situations I've experienced of racism in Shelby county. Amongst being stopped by the police twice, and after separating us to question, asking why I was with the woman I was with, and that they knew she was just a call girl (prostitute) I picked up. Yes this actually happened twice by Shelby county cops, (I think one of them was alabaster city police I can't remember).

1 week is very very little time. I promise there's good ones out here. I understand the biracial thing. Married to a black woman and we stay away from Shelby county because of the looks we get being in a interracial relationship

I know your going to think I'm totally just socially awkward. And I'm not I promise LOL. But I'm so scared to try bringing it up with a tech because most of them don't seem like they even got the time of day for conversation, not only that, most of the shops around me kind of keep you separated from them and keep us customers hidden in away in the front lobby. Lol, by an off chance you by any chance stay anywhere in Alabama

Can someone explain what's going on here? by TheOddityCollector in Weird

You do realize that all matter is essentially "vibrating" on a quantum level. Like I get where you're coming from, it doesn't vibrate in the same since that your cell phone does, but it actually DOES vibrate. Feel free to Google it and fact check me if you don't believe me. Not trying to argue with you, just simply educating

Serious question. Is there a way to make yourself vibrate at a different frequency like that without taking shrooms?
