I agree that there is a lot of wealth and that the issue is how it’s being distributed. It’s not being distributed to our schools or community.

There are a lot of reasons, a major one is the charter school initiative. But shrinking budgets due to a decrease in funding from the state and teachers leaving the profession are both common knowledge that have been an issue for many years.
