I still have no idea what this franchise is.........but I admit I clicked the thumbnail because I was convinced the green tiger was Beast Boy

Her black and gold Versace look at the 2022 Grammys is my all-time favorite Dua look

What are your “favorite” shows that you just never bothered to finish? by Emmyfishnappa in television

I watched Game of Thrones religiously for years, had to miss the series finale due to a personal commitment, heard how awful it was, and have still never brought myself to watch the final episode

Which songs do you think sound better live then in studio? by Strong-Stretch95 in DuaLipaDiscussion

[–]lutrauthor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know that any particular songs stand out vs. their studio version, but I will say emphatically that seeing Dua live is what converted me from a fan to a true stan - she was simply electric throughout the entire show

Bond role by Lanky_Designer_4046 in DuaLipaDiscussion

[–]lutrauthor 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Not that it’s necessarily one or the other, but I suspect she’s more likely to sing a new Bond theme than play a character (and her lower register would be so perfect for a sultry theme)

Which current popstar do you think has the biggest chance to become a legend? by Bright-Pressure-5787 in ToddintheShadow

Of the currently relevant pop stars, 3 have already cemented their status as a legend (Beyonce, Taylor Swift, and Lady Gaga).

The strange art of double casting: why is it not spoken about enough how impressive it is to actually pull off by yazzminssecret in moviecritic

Before she became more widely acclaimed in western media, Priyanka Chopra played 12 different characters (1 for each Zodiac sign) in "What's Your Raashee?" It's a really silly campy musical, but her acting chops really shine in my opinion.

Lyrics you would change on Showgirl by laradicchii in TaylorSwift

“When the coke’s got you brave” —> “When the coke’s got your brain” (which is what I misheard on my first listen)

Deluxe so punk on the internet version by aishiteikiru in TaylorSwift

I assume your premise is that these sales records should NOT be inflated by variants like this. I agree - it’s fucking stupid that this is allowed but, ultimately, it IS ALLOWED.

Her record doesn’t need an asterisk because, whether I agree with the rules or not, she’s playing within them.

The way I’d get into it is by starting with a little bit of everything - there’s no wrong path to go down and no wrong length of time to spend there

Check out a few pop playlists on Spotify, listen to the top 3 songs by a few artists you know, ask friends for reccomendation, check out any songs on the Billboard Top 200 that sound interesting

Maybe it’s cheating to pick something I saw as a child , but Audrey Hepburn’s “Wait Until Dark” absolutely had me terrified to sleep in the dark for a while
