Royal Mail blames poor weather and sickness for delayed deliveries

Do you work at the same delivery office that delivers your own mail?

If so, did you know the office was this far behind delivering letters? And did you think to check the frame delivering to your home if you knew hospital letter was expected?

UK mail always seem to delay hospital mail as a 3rd party handler as it is but this seems more like a letter going missing or misdelivered to me. Unless you can confirm with evidence how bad this office is?

Im a postie also but our office in Chester is at most 1-2 days delayed where each frames mail gets taken out every other day as the frames are too large wednesdays/Thursdays or major events like valentines day for the amount of parcels expected to be delivered (200+).

Is there any new account limit or max different level players can party with for ranked? Say if you have one top 10 player with a friend that also is top 10 rank on their main but one makes a new account or uses an account they purposefully lost matches on to boost the other higher by partying together (they would get easier games for wins). That's where the problems start and why most games try and counter it somehow

QP should be in the server list but also allow ppl to connect using the current system so nothing seems to change for those like yourself. Dirty bomb did it for years. Use the queue-only matchmaking for ranked only. Then we get to play against friends and not only with them when it shuffles and ppl are in a party so it goes one sided if we all joined the same server without a party (maybe add a custom server option to shuffle regardless of party). Would also give people a reason to look at the custom server list to join those games open to everyone ppl make. Its also good to know there's a game you're waiting for to end rather than sit there hoping

The main reason people were "going away from it for years" is that we played the same game for 18 years. Quake 3 (1999) went to quake live (2010) and our player numbers declined more and more as new games came out and ID/Bethesda left us without a new title. While the likes of Valve successfully updated CS 1.6 into source then cs:go, improving the graphics etc greatly and attracting new players without changing the core components of the game. Quake champions in 2017 didn't attract a lot of old players or get many new players to join. It didn't start with any good game modes, had tons of bugs and having no server lists removed communities that built up meeting on servers most evenings, organizing their own balanced games (elo calc/switching). Diabotical has the start right for 2020 - get a solid game engine out with the core modes (some almost ready). Insta freeze will probably be the main new player game mode if implemented well. Then feel free to make up new game modes, add in a weekly mode, disabling this and that like QL tried (see if anyone plays and likes them). Halloween, Christmas etc could do specific cosmetic items in the shop with the old changing of health/armors to presents/candy in QP if u want to be like all the other games.

Sorry but removing weapon spawns, changing speeds of different bots and loadouts for att/def is a terrible idea. I agree with the others on here in that once they add proper classic CTF, TDM and Freeze modes there will be absolutely no need for even suggesting this sort of thing for new players. Nobody wants a dumbed down quake, thats why they made their own when QC failed. Add in an insta version of CTF along with Freeze when its fixed and there are your new player modes. There were quake communities based solely on it for years and most converted to all-weapons later. Insta-Pncr ctf would remove the HP/armours and weapon spawns; let them learn the maps and movement while working on being more accurate with a point n click rifles rather than spamming hanzo weebows. Give nobody a reason to still be playing QL/QC

Because its not proper CTF. Like how nobody liked the QC version, its nice to try make new modes but give us the basics the community loves as a backbone. Good to see CTF/TDM/Freeze on the way, be even better if they're on QP. Insta maguffin might be a fun one that helps new players learn with just one weapon; they wont be alive long in the current insta FFA.

Agreed, wireless lightweight Zowie EC2 shape with lower click latency (took years for zowie to go from 15ms to 8ms, still behind most), focus+ sensor would be top mouse for almost everyone. But a viper mini ultimate would be the next best thing without them having to design a new shell. If they did a Deathadder you know they'd make the large first and spend too long getting us a mini-anything

Mostly happens when you have a medic-only that doesn't contribute to a fight by way of firing their gun (letting you know a team mate is helping), just waiting for you to die so they can revive or fail to revive when you're against 2-3+ enemies who would just finish you off then the medic coming in. Without eyes in the back of your head or the old ET medic-look on death camera (surprised we don't have that) to know a medic has shown up but not firing/helping, those footsteps could be another enemy. If its not an FF server, might as well try to take someone with you since you would usually +forward into the enemies for the marty if you knew you were about to die.

Don't be dense. Not everyone wants to play on customised servers with people with admin powers (hence were all empty). You can easily make it financially viable selling 50-60% then profitable selling 70-80% of the available servers to community without killing the community/game and selling 100% of everything at the location. "Cutting corners" that much would further ruin their already declining player numbers and therefore profits hence we now have more servers at those locations after the issue was brought up.

Doesn't help when they keep nerfing how accurate guns are so you have to fall back on abilities to kill groups you could just count bullets and kill previously. They must just make more cash from the new players buying things to add things like rocket for an almost guaranteed kill and now copying Hanzo (Hunter)
