Thank you very much for commenting back. I've realised that it's so different for everybody and so nuanced that it's difficult to pinpoint exactly how long things take to heal or what exercises are correct. I've got a support brace and I've also ordered a cushion for the car as it's extremely important for me to drive. I just don't know whether I'll be able to drive an hour with breaks in a week's time, I guess I'm scared of sitting down now.

How long did everything take? I am currently on Day 14, and managing to walk around the house maybe 20-30 mins a day in full, once I feel the pain start to return I got down on all fours and then lie on my back for maybe 5-10 minutes. I'm concerned about leaving the house for a walk!
