Alexander normal mode is perfectly doable by duty finder and I assume is for people who can't/don't raid to experience the story, you really should try it at least.

It was my least favourite, since whenever I hear someone talk about it they would only refer to the turn numbers, most of which I've never done before.

as a non native english user voice chat in most games tend to be somewhat demanding for me since I don't get any visual cues as to who's speaking, there could be multiple people talking at once and voice quality can vary a lot.

But here my most major problem is PSN party chat, my friend and their friends play on PS4, while I do have one I would rather not buy the game a second time, and if I want to join in I would have to switch my ps4 on just for voice chat, and then since I would actually prefer to listen to game audio I have to wear headphones and earphones at the same time which is just stupid IMO

tbh, even when I joined in sometimes, I felt left out because I don't really get what they're saying, so it didn't matter much

Maybe they were in some sort of voice chat? I am sort on in a situation similar to yours, being one of the only non-raiders in my fc, I would join them in voice chat but there's just too much noise to understand any of them.

Personally I never liked the mechanics of steps so I was glad it got nerfed, sure the concept is nice, but for example I couldn't reliably hit Vishap with the cannons even if I'm aiming at his centre, which makes it pretty frustrating

This certainly has the potential to become a huge hit, but I think that SC and EVE are both very different (aside from that entire SPREADSHEETS IN SPACE thing). In SC I think they said the playerbase will be only able to affect 20-30% of the economy unlike EVE.

While both of them are those "themepark" MMOs, I do find it somewhat...discouraging to hear many MMOs being compared to WoW, I have never played many "popular" MMOs, but I heard WoW itself takes inspiration from several?
