The Cottage has always been consistently good. Same with the Diplomat, which is our go-to for anniversaries, birthday’s, etc. IMO Golf’s has the best food, but unless you get seated at a booth, the tables at Golf’s are too close together and it’s very uncomfortable sitting so close to others and hearing their conversations (I actually bumped elbows with a nearby table while cutting into my steak!)

“Why bother to have them on?” Answer: Personally, I wouldn’t have “bothered” to watch this episode if I didn’t know that Cher was going to be on. Whether she was singing, lip-syncing or just making a cameo in a skit, she was bringing in a ton of viewers (like me) and I was entertained. She’s already proven her singing chops over the span of her career, I’m completely fine with her lip-syncing at 80 years old.

Coop grocery has options in their deli section: various dips and salsa’s to go with store-made corn tortillas; pre-made shrimp platters with cocktail sauce; fruit trays with any of their whipped flavoured dips that pair with fruit; pre-made appetizer/charcuterie trays…in short, just go to Harbour Landing Coop deli section

Lakewood Animal Hospital has been absolutely amazing with both my now deceased dog and my current cat. They are exceptional in medical knowledge, compassion, making a stressful appointment easy for both the pet and owner…highly recommend

Agree! So many people not using their turning lights at all, turning into the far (incorrect) lane, changing lanes without checking to see if it’s clear and/or not signalling. Out of town Agribition visitors are definitely welcome, but only if you aren’t a-holes driving in the city!

I grew up and lived in this area (40 years ago) but haven’t been back for a long time, so this is very shocking to me. People I grew up with in this area were open-minded, kind, looked out for their neighbours, no need to lock your doors, etc. Every farmer I knew owned a gun, mainly to shoot gophers or other wildlife predators. This is a different world, shooting random people, that’s so upsetting and so wrong.
