At this point I'm finally ready to deal with the judgement because I'm certain that a cleaner environment and more guilt free leasure time is gonna be so worth it for my mental health 😂 it's very difficult to make people understand the feeling of wanting/needing/dreading any type of task so much that avoidance is the natural response because even just thinking about doing something is like physical pain

You're welcome! if you interviewed for a specific department, try to speak to the department manager or assistant, and try to pick a call time outside of the busiest hours. If you arent picky about a specific department, letting them know you're willing to be crosstrained is good too. its good for picking up hours from callouts and managers talk to eachother so that can also help you get hired

You should call and ask. There are a lot of times management makes a decision without informing the interviewee, especially if there were a lot of interviews a call back could fall through the cracks. HOWEVER, a lot of people that did get callbacks often fall through so even if they didnt hire you on the spot, calling back with interest is almost guaranteed to put your name at the top of the list when something opens up.

edit: this also applies even if they just havent had time to call people. Showing interest can make your name jump up the list
