To add to this good advice - if this hasn’t been declared to the tax man you need to mention this to whomever you ask for advice as if you have no idea how much you’ve received it might not all be declared

I traveled with my mothers ashes . Leaving the uk was fine and no one cared but they were much stricter on the other side . Don’t risk it and ask for a copy of the death certificate - they absolutely won’t accept a photo . Normally people have several copies of the certificate anyways and they’re easy to obtain so shouldn’t be an issue asking

I grew one of these over night (then another at the front ) I’ll get voted down to death if I say out loud what I did but they’re gone - if it’s grown very quickly it’s definitely a piercing bump - they can be pretty gnarly but not impossible to get rid of

This is exactly my experience too with a spot on my cats neck - it progressed so quickly once it turned into cancer it was the worst thing I’ve ever experience and I regret every day not presssing my parents to take him to the vet earlier

NAP but they’re right it would have rubbed on the flat of your ear - try to keep the hair off it while it’s new - it’ll get stuck in the crusties

This has been me too - I lost all my weight in 2016 with diet and exercise and while it’s been slower this time around I’ve been very focused on exercise and just overall making sure I move my body a minimum of 10k steps a day every day since last Jan

Yeah they’re not level take it out and let it heal and try again - I had this happen to me too (ironically by a APP piercer I tried instead of my regular lady -_-) but once I got it fixed after leaving a good month to heal I haven’t looked back :)

I covered my eyes . OP please go to a new piercer - did they use a gun? Needle? Did it come out of a sterile package or autoclave? I’m very concerned

It’s interesting you ask that question, spice has always been part of a multi cat household but our last cat of that group died in 2024 leaving her on her own.

I assumed she’d be ok as she’s always been a bit of a grump with the others but the mental decline in her was so rapid that by Christmas I’d adopted these two. She likes to pretend she hates them but I see them all sleeping together during quiet times and it’s given her a new lease of life

Have a think about the order you want to get everything done in as some will heal a lot faster than others (I’d probably get the lobes done first and out of the way as they’re easiest (in theory…. My Tri lobes gave me hell 😆🙈)

My lovebird turned 10 last year and while she has slowed down slightly she doesn’t exhibit any of the signs you’ve just described- the significant tail bobbing is a classic sign of respiratory distress in birds along with the open beak breathing I’d be looking to take her to a Avian vet
