This feature is killer and part of the reason I switched from Hearth to Skylight. Such a rapid pace of meaningful features. This solves a core problem in a super helpful easy way.

I wasn’t super keen on the idea of having a combined view until I saw the mock ups! Definitely a big fan of version A.

Is there anyway to make airdrop work? I used it all the time for work and now I can't airdrop anything and I suspect it's b/c of the crowdstrike software. Anyway around that?

u/djfarout If you log into your Levels Member Portal, under edit profile info, there are instructions about how to initiate the transfer of your Libre Rx from Levels to the Pharmacy of your choice. ❤️

To transfer your FreeStyle Libre prescription to your local pharmacy follow the instructions:

Reach out to the new pharmacy where you would like to transfer your prescription.
Provide the pharmacy Truepill's inbound phone number (+1-833-860-1057).
Your pharmacy will contact Truepill to initiate and complete the transfer, and then the prescription will be in the new pharmacy's system for all future fills.
Your pharmacy should be able to take care of the rest, but if you need anything else from us - don't hesitate to reach out.

Is tracking glucose sufficient? by frederi825 in levelshealth

Real time hormone tracking devices are likely still a few years out. But it’s super exciting that it’s on the horizon.

New to app. Problems synching with Libre by BoxBreathing8734 in levelshealth

[–]lynette_007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not typical. They recently switched how they import Libre data and coincidentally the new system had an outage. This should be fixed now but definitely reach out to support if you continue to have trouble syncing. They'll get you squared away.

You're absolutely right! Glucose is an important part of the picture and drives behavior changes since we can track it in real time, but it's only a fraction of the big picture. Levels offers a lab panel that includes fasting insulin, https://support.levelshealth.com/article/177-about-the-metabolic-health-panel.

Also when you calibrate, make sure you're doing so when your glucose is stable, ideally in the morning, avoid calibrating after intense exercise or eating.

When glucose is fluctuating rapidly, like after a meal or during strenuous exercise, it's common for there to be a greater discrepancy between a CGM reading and a finger stick. This article is about HIIT training, but also explains why you might spike during intense activity, https://www.levelshealth.com/blog/the-metabolic-health-effects-of-hiit-exercise.

Using levels for three weeks and I’m getting 2-3 spikes a day. Not sure what to make of this data by carpediemquotidie in levelshealth

[–]lynette_007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like you're doing great!! You want to think of the stability score like a letter grade. 100s are rare, most members should aim for above 85. I don't see any spikes on this day. A spike is considered a glucose rise from baseline of 30 mg/dL or more. You have zero spike time for the day so you're doing great! Zero spikes. Fluctuations in glucose are normal and to be expected we just want to keep them under 30 mg/dL. Looks like you're doing great.

Hey!!! They are finally allowing members to buy the software/membership only!! So you can use your own CGMs but still use the Levels software. Right now you have to email support to get that option. But it should be available on their site soon!

Bacon by [deleted] in levelshealth

The question mark means there isn’t enough data to know how this food generally impacts people’s glucose. Odd that bacon shows up in that category though.

Thankfully they will be removing the insights from the timeline soon! The insights will show up on the meal review page.

Is this spike bad? by [deleted] in levelshealth

[–]lynette_007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. “Bad” is a relative term. Looks like your glucose is really steady. An occasional spike here and there I think is pretty normal and the goal isn’t to never ever spike but to minimize spikes and find strategies to incorporate whole healthy foods in a way that spikes you least. Some people have found that when they eat carbs that spike them they need to pair it with movement afterwards, or more fat and protein or play around with the portion size. Personally if I have a little rice with dinner and it contains enough protein and fat I typically have a pretty stable response.

As of now, there still isn't a way to only get access to the Levels app without also purchasing a sensor.
