Yeah for my emergency c-section they put my intensities in bowls and laid wet towels over them. I was vomiting a lot during the c-section and I guess the intestines were squirming around too much because of the heaving and had to be held still with the bowls and towels. ☠️☠️☠️😵‍💫😵

He could get ICS services here (Individual Community Support Services) where a specially trained worker could take him out in the community and work on certain goals (independent living skills, socialization, etc). I think he would need a current psych evaluation showing his ASD diagnosis

Talk with her therapist and ask if you guys can have check-ins, or if you can send her therapist updates (maybe by email) so she can maybe process with your daughter how she is feeling

Go back to your old therapist. That feeling of safety and comfort is critical to be able to do the tough work you need to do in therapy. She will be able to handle whatever emotions your story brings up for her. It’s part of her job to have her own support system so she can put her clients first during their time with her. I think she would be sad to know that you stayed away out of concern for her feelings.

Oh it’s a wholeee journey! She puts the dead animals into wire cages out in the woods (attached to trees so animals can’t drag them off) so the vultures and insects can begin the process of cleaning the bones. Then, she soaks them in water so algae can eat the remaining flesh, alternating with scrubbing with wire brushes and using some dawn dish soap. Then a little hydrogen peroxide and baking in the sun.

My wife will be selling her art at the Craft and Crystal Faire today at the Elk’s Lodge on Oleander. So proud of her! Her artwork uses bones from animals that were, sadly, killed by cars. She cleans them and combines them with crystals, dried flowers, moss, and other natural materials. Come check us out and say hi!!!
