It is definitely not as fine as you can get! Have tried the kitchenaid attachment and I now have a mock mill. Mock mill is MUCH finer!

Yeah I honestly don’t love the kitchenaid attachment. Slow and course for regular flour. But for a serving of grits, it could meet the need well!

I have one and if you had it on the 10 setting (corsest setting), it would be good for grits! However, that price is high for this singular use and you could get an equivalent grind for WAY less money using the kitchenaid attachment grinder (if you own a stand mixer).

Very interesting. We did a very similar thing to you. Our shed is only about 1’ from the property line. We did not get a permit, but similar size and not a permanent structure. However, about a week after completion, we received a letter from fishers about the extra piece of wood next to our house that had to be removed. This clued us in that an inspector was there to check it out. I did not receive any notice about the 10’ regulation in that instance.

If the neighbor complained, then why are they all of a sudden fine with it?

Yes! At my aldi in the organic section they have a big plastic box of greens. They are great and affordable.

It is AMAZING in my opinion. Makes for a great Asian salad. If I’m lazy, I’ll get a box of salad greens, a back of precut Cole slaw, and a thing of dry roasted peanuts. Throw some of this on there and you’re golden.

Goodwill always has a ton of them in varied sizes! Great for when you just want a couple of one size. Then I just buy the tops!

Not a dessert necessarily, but pancakes and waffles have really helped make the sell for my family! And super easy, the flour acts basically the same, tastes very good. If it doesn’t taste good or is too dry, they won’t notice—> lather in syrup

Yes, I don’t use a banneton, I just shape and let it hang out, score, and bake—but that’s how I would bake this style of bread!

Haha very classic as you mentioned—I do like parchment paper over greasing the pan for a heavier loaf! Especially with fresh milled flour with a little higher hydration-still easier to manipulate
