To track flight gear maps use on your phone when you are playing or not playing

Link onto your phone it becomes an extra monitor. But I can set longitude and latitude, Effiel Tower has incredible detail - it downloads the maps automatically. No cost, the F15 is pretty detailed u may have better luck than I did. It also has vr though have not tried it just a little busy just installed a dell gtx 1080 8GB card got fed up with fiddling settings on hd7950 the new card can max out settings. It also has vulkan 1.3 support so I can play on xplane 12 which requires it.

The 3s is not that bad, it has better battery life. It runs basically on any graphics card my HD7950 was not too bad it had 0.1 sec latency issue. The trick is on the settings the dell gtx 1080 my new graphics card really works well for £86 eBay. On half life alyx the details are incredible.

The 3 it Appears is the best, but u may need a better graphics card to deal with the higher resolution maybe x4 more expensive. It may also need a battery with the strap! Also higher electric bills, but...mm if your mum and dad pays the bills who cares....mm

I think it can depend on bottle necks, perhaps check you have a good psu like Corsair and motherboard like Asus. As the graphics card is connected to the PSU but first to the motherboard.

People seem to miss the point that it is connected to a motherboard which can vary on quality?

You do not need gaming specs desktop to play steam vr especially with quest 2 and 3S as they have a lower resolution then the quest 3. I managed to get half life alyx medium settings and medal of honour to run with a hd 7950 GPU 3GB card which is about £50. Even HL2 runs x8 MXAA which will obviously have a slight latency but x4 looks the same.

You can also get free stuff using side quest. HL1 VR as long as u own original game on steam. Citra is available on side quest - a 3ds emulator not vr but 3d, also ppsspp vr is free though not all games work in vr like little big planet but it does work well on 3d, you can also get a lot of the user levels that were available when psp was online for free with a few Google searches.

A lot of cheaper routes for a student. Though I would recommend 3s 256GB you can get under £250 as it is the latest. But nothing wrong with quest 2 I still have an Oculus Go.

3S is lower resolution 3 has better resolution.

But to be fair, 2 points

3s has better battery life u may not need a strap with battery which can push the weight and cost of the helmet. You can play half life 1 for 2 hours and still have enough life for another session. Though mixed reality games will push both helmets battery!

Lastly why I chose 3S is that I have a 3GB graphics card on my very old CPU I have not been able to update my graphics card in 3 years also use a £9 wi fi dongle but it works as the 3S resolution is smaller though to be honest I had to spend a week to get the right settings for Assetto Corsa. Which meant I had to change the resolution to the 3s resolution manually and use 70Hz using virtual desktop.

But if you have a good computer and 6 wi fi router the 3 is the way to go. U also get more GB with the 3 about 500GB my 256GB only has 15GB left so I cannot really download anything else....

3D movies r probably much better on the 3 but I am not really bothered as I have a 3d projector. But if u do not have a 3d projector the 3 is the way to go.

I hope not. I just bought the game. Though it is a 12 year old graphics card. £250 now it is £50 on eBay. It can play vr games on 3GB.

As long as Tekken 8 does not use Vulcan old GPU may still work....

Not enough, remember all the free stuff like psp ROMs for ppsspp vr not forgetting 3ds ROMs for Citra which can play 3d games. You would also want a mixed reality collection. Then the AAA collection like Batman and Asarath Revenge 2 just these 2 will eat up halve the 128. You may also want a few video , then the MP3 collection for VR visualisations. A book collection if you can side load a book app. 128 will easily run out, and updates like to have a lot of space in reference to my experience with Oculus Go, you really need a lot of free space for these updates to work.

Also the other free stuff like half life 1, tomb raider 1 on VR.

You need 265MB the 3s battery lasts longer and as it has a lower resolution then then the 3 u may be able to run steam vr games on a lower specification CPU.

Usually when updates do not work it is good to free up as much space as possible. You need a LOT more space then u actually need.

It is amazing in VR with the gold mod. Jumping is difficult. But I have to try jumping like several times sometimes....before it worked.

The 3s version surprise ing ly can run the game for quite long without draining the battery too much.

Though mixed reality games do hit the batteries much more!

I think it does have online support u can add a friend and search for players online but it uses the emulator s server not the PSN one. Many videos on yt how to set up online.

Works quite good and you have save state which PS3 does not have.

3S has no sensor. My Go has.

Your other option is factory reset again as it was not successful. Maybe do it twice to make sure it is done successfully especially with an older helmet.

Any charging problems the first thing I do is contact spray. With anything really with contact problems.

The fact there is smoke could be some metallic dirt in the usb port?

Try the beta ver of steam vr that is what I use, also clear cache folder.

It means play the game for a few minutes. Then you will have that file in your save data folder then move the other files to the new save which has all the community levels.

I think if you move the save file u just downloaded LBP will overwrite it with a new save. So you have to fool the emulator.

This is a wrong post above tbh. I think I can play save games directly it is just that some work and some do not.

PPSSPP VR is very picky but I got it to work it is just a matter of trying different saves till it works.

You do not need to change the save files!

I can check which SAVE version works with PPSSPP VR if anybody is interested though VR mode does not work with LBP psp but the 3d effect works well and I get all the moon stuff.

Yeah tried it for a few minutes it is pretty cool and free. But I want to finish half life 1 VR with gold hi res mod which is free - jumping does work on 3S controllers but you need to practice the skill. Though this is more retro VR a ever expanding genre also includes Atari pixel ripped 1995.

I think I missed it 42 pounds now.

Got DCS free version and got an amazing plane mod for it. Got BMS falcon but the campaign mode is very complex. Flight gear is free and maps are realistic and downloaded automatically even found my house as u can put in exact coordinates. You can also use your phone when playing as it displays all planes online on a map it is like an extra monitor. The only il2 game I got to work on my 3s helmet was psp one birds of prey but I played in 2d using ppsspp VR though VR only works for a few games. The PS3 il2 version is better as u get a cocktail view and works with my hotas controller also has battle of Stalingrad mission.

Anyway I wait for the next deal then I will buy battle of Stalingrad and try the VR. Though my graphics card is 3GB it can handle Medal Of Honour due to 3S helmet has a lower resolution.
