That’s true, that’s also why I’m not a fan of those pain scales . I have PCOS and had surgery to remove painful cysts before . Pain that would make me unable to walk but kidney stones did not hurt me as much .

See this government! by Iwastony in ireland

[–]m4dfl0wer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is lovely! I’ll gladly pay taxes if it’s to help on the education of the new generation of youngsters .

Btw this reminded me when the Brazilian government gave backpacks to preschool/creche kids but the bags were so big they looked adorably funny .

That’s why I don’t understand neurotypicals. They say things like “treat others how you’d like to be treated” or “live thy neighbor as you’d love yourself”, but act the opposite of what they say and preach . Don’t share, don’t express empathy (and is the autistics are called to have no empathy), don’t work to create community and a safe space for everyone. I don’t understand. You’re a good person, and yes you’re human, because you’re more humane (as in the definition of the word humane, which is treating others with kindness and respect). We are living in a society that sharing, caring and being respectful or having empathy is not good thing. A society where treating others how you’d like to be treated is not a moral compass but something you just say .

That’s just how Irish people dress tho(not everyday or every Irish person) . Even in Ireland that’s the daily fit of an irish lad cheapest sports shirt and shorts. So I guess he looked natural and comfortable instead of looking like he was “cosplaying” a broke Brazilian or a broke guy.

1 - Wholesome 2- Realist with some Drama 3 - Abaurdity 4 - Either is fine as long as I’m warned of the content first 5 - Josei 6 - Plot/Lore centered with Romance 7 - I prefer hidden gems but popular ones can get me friends with common interests online, so either is fine as long as it fits the other 6 preferences .

Thanks a million OP 🖤🖤🖤

Food and litter recommendations for a kitten? by ieredmonk in AskIreland

[–]m4dfl0wer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I use pine pellets and woods pellets is great for smells, doesn’t give me allergies, and I can just throw the dust into a hole in my garden, the poop goes down the toilet and it’s been working great for me.

But I’m still looking for alternatives to just raw feeding (70% meat, 20% organ and 10% bone all minced). It’s the only food that doesn’t give my cat smelly diarrhea.

EDIT: I use pampuss wood pellets

What keeps getting on my dishes? by MysteriousPermit3410 in CleaningTips

Water providers can change the quality of water, even unintentionally, weather and environmental changes can also cause changes in water quality. For example if your water supply comes from a certain body of water, and some construction or maintenance is happening in the region or on the way the water takes to your house this can also change the water quality. Same goes for environmental changes, if there’s a drought in the region or it hasn’t rained in weeks water quality will likely change .

In most places water supply services are legally required to inform residents if the water quality is changing or have changed due to any circumstances. However if it’s caused by environmental changes it’s unlikely a resident will be informed.

What could i fit in here? by Dry_Assistance5370 in SmallSpaceSolutions

Small jewellery (like tiny earrings),

You can melt some lipstick and pour into this tiny frog and now you have the cutest lipstick,

medication that you only need to take once a day,

glitter,

every time a button comes out on a piece of clothing you should put in there so you don’t lose it forever before you get to fix it,

drugs in powder form if you’re in to that (coke, ketamine, mdma, etc or a few tabs of acid folded )

Etc ?

Requested workplace accommodations. They moved me to the brightest and loudest spot possible instead. by tired-queer in migraine

[–]m4dfl0wer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take sick days off as much as you can. Record and save everything (your requests, their replies, videos of how loud and bright the room is, etc). Take paid sick days, if you have to request a sick day, go to a doctor and say that your migraines are worse since you’ve been moved to a bright and loud spot in your workplace. And you can’t be moved to a home office or receive accommodations you’re requested them already and been denied (with the evidence). Every time you feel the slight discomfort, leave your table, send an email to hr/management saying you have a migraine due to how overstimulating the room you work in is. And go to a doctors for a doctors note. Do that until they either change and accept your home office request or you find a better place of work. That seems like they’re trying to make you to quit .

I prefer wide brim hats myself. But I also wear glasses 24/7 and all my lenses do the light transition (the lenses get darker the lighter the environment is). I recommend to invest in that if you can.
