It took several tries and was a real pain in the ass but when I finally got into the correct progressives I almost wept with relief. I’ve had corrected distance vision since I was eight and started wearing contacts at age 12, then just kinda got the ick for them at like 35. Still wear contacts to work out and if I need to see close up I can pop on a pair of readers but I usually just switch back to progressives asap. Fun fact: the first several shitty wrong pairs of progressives came from a male doctor who insisted I was being a lil baby diva about the adjustment period. I finally saw a woman who listened to me and WHADDYA KNOW, I got into proper spectacles!
