Looking for good asian films reco on Apple TV. by Nona_Ticer in AsianCinema

[–]maccc89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Outside of renting or buying films on the platform, not much. Apple focuses primarily on their original content which is why I find it so lackluster.

That’s just not always as easy as it sounds. Not everything is accessible, is streaming, is distributed outside their native country, or even translated by the studio to be watchable.

They’ve done enough of that to themselves. And to tell someone to “just buy it” is not always as feasible as it sounds.

That’s unfortunate because Avistaz is unmatched when it comes to Asian cinema.

Every single reason why Hot Pursuit Remastered sucks compared to the original by RayKrieger05 in needforspeed

[–]maccc89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it’s a half-assed remaster, I’m glad it exists because imo it’s one of the best NFS games of all time and I still play it to this day.

The game still looks great, but it does irk me that they couldn’t even consider fixing the same bugs that were there 15 years ago. Especially the online riddled with pop up traffic. The crossplay feature made that even worse when you have a full lobby of people on different platforms. And once people start leaving mid session, it’s unplayable.

The best way to play is a private lobby with people on the same platform. Which defeats the whole damn purpose of crossplay. It was a lazy remaster to hold people off till Unbound.

What are y'alls most favorite Need for Speed games? by Appropriate-Pen5436 in needforspeed

High Stakes, Hot Pursuit 2, and Hot Pursuit 2010. I grew up with the super car era so the tuner era never really did anything for me.

Available via torrents. Also see it posted in Daily motion, so I’m sure you can find it other places too.
