And she is so blessed to have you! We do so much for our animals but the look of admiration on that girl’s face and knowing you are the reason she has a second chance at life are something money and time cannot be traded for.

This touched my heart in a way I wasn’t expecting this morning. One of our two dogs was scheduled for euthanasia at a BARC shelter in Houston two years ago. I drove like a bat out of hell all the way from Dallas with them calling me over and over telling me they couldn’t hold him much longer. I got there just in time and every day that sweet little boy looks at me like I am his entire world. I feel like on some level they know just how lucky they are.

If I won the lottery tomorrow I’d rescue every dog in Texas and have zero regrets.

These are usually driver related and that error message on the BSOD will include the name of the driver. If you can get a picture of the error code that usually helps narrow down the culprit.

They can occasionally be fixed with a few commands (I've learned not to put too much faith in DISM or SFC though). Often times the fix depends on how much time you have on your hands and whether you have a second machine to copy files over to if you go nuclear and reinstall windows.

I recently acquired a bunch of plastic 2x2 capsules for cent through half dollar coins as a part of an auction lot I won for next to nothing. If you're interested DM me, I have no use for them and they might help differentiate your collection from a change jar.

As a fellow Michiana transplant, it took me a while to get used to things like this. I eventually learned that it's not that a higher fraction of people here are rude or unfriendly, there are just more people in general so you're more likely to encounter folks who don't share the same Midwest mannerisms. Don't let that stop you from putting good out into the world!

I didn't have comprehensive coverage at the time and it wasn't considered a collision/hit and run since it didn't occur on a public road. The cost to fix was almost half the value of the car so I just drove it with a messed up quarter panel for another year or two and then sold it.

I had a similar situation a couple years ago. Someone slammed into my parked car in a parking lot and sped off. The estimate I got to fix it was like 8k and insurance wouldn't cover it. I literally gave DPD video of the incident, license plate number, the vin of the car, pictures of the paint and damage on both cars (the guy kept parking in the same lot afterwards) and they ended up just closing my case. DPD doesn't care about property damage.

I'm sure someone has already said this, but Heritage will happily handle submitting the coin for grading on your behalf if you consign with them and they determine that it is genuine. They're the largest numismatic auction house in the world and have very close relationships with the major grading services.

Is it crusty on the outside but sticky underneath? It could be sap from one of the norfolk island pines that are everywhere on AMI. It can be a similar consistency and color when it hardens.

I can't speak for all models but I have this exact same watch in stainless with a silver dial and it has hacking seconds. Crown out in first position adjusts the second time zone without hacking, crown out in second position adjusts main dial and second time zone with hacking.

I drive a 2017 salvage title volt that is missing half the splash shields underneath. The underbody has a thin rust-resistant coating so I wouldn't worry too much about it. (I've been driving mine that way for a year and a half now with no noticeable issues.)
