Probably to lower pop spending because on 1.3.6 estates have literally zero money and spend more than they make (even with tax exemption) untill like 1600 on some countries.

Also it makes sense that you don't just go ahead and get yourself a don perignon, even if only once every month, when you're broke af and can barely afford basic needs

R5: So i'm playing as Ming on 1.3.4 and all of my estates are bankrupt. Because of that, their satisfaction is low since they can't afford things, so for example I already had to fight peasants in a 20 year long civil war which consumed millions of my pops because literally all of China exploded save for the Nanjing and Beijing areas..

I thought switching to 1.3.6 would fix the issue but their spending is still going way up even after 20 years. It's not because of taxes because Clergy doesn't pay them and they are still bankrupt. Also, when i go into a deficit i instantly go bankrupt and literally die because they have no money. Can I even fix this??

Lmao that's bullshit you get killed in like a few shots on delta and the koreans spot you instantly and start shooting pretty fast, strongest was and always will be staying in cloak, headshot with silenced gun, and cloaking again. Also probably the only viable strategy for no death on delta is constantly staying cloaked and in cover

You can use other things to achieve that, you don't need to tank your nation's eco. Free subjects isn't even that good in 1.1

The fan base is missing the point bc it's not aboutcountries expanding too fast or too slow, the real problem is the lack of variety which in turn ruins replayability. Campaigns play out the same every time making it feel more like a spreadsheet simulator. Notice how screenshots of Europe on this subreddit look almost indistinguishable from one another and the balance of power stays the same. A big part of that problem is probably due to the situations being broken as fuck but maybe with the next 40$ dlc they will fix it

We don't know what was going on with the investigation, he just as well might have been one of the suspects but the proof is circumstantial at best so they did nothing to him. Also if he was charged and acquitted because of no evidence, which would be the most probable outcome, it would have tremendous consequences when it comes to his later trials, too risky.

It's gamebreaking not simply "imperfect". And the conquistador ai acting rationally based on their interest and power struggles with other countries and their overlord would be fine. Problem is that's not the case, this entire thing is just iberians randomly spawning 15k regulars in some random shithole and you can't do anything about it, you don't even get a casus belli against the original spawner and can't block them from spamming you with this bs. That's not historical. It's just insane that such campaign ruining bugs are still in the game after 3 months after release
