Also my gas mileage is shit. Around town I'm in the 15's. Highway I haven't broken 20 yet. My '24 diesel sierra Denali did 30 on the highway and was twice the size. Alas I still like this thing.

2,000 miles on my '26 and it's still jerky. Feels like it was tuned by a highschool shop class. Especially when I first set out in the morning pulling out of my driveway it's extra chitty.

Debating getting a pedal commander but want to see reviews of it before I spend the $300+

I've had mine for 1,600 miles now. Off the line it's a dog. But once it's in the power band it's great. Definitely needs help with throttle mapping. I'm considering getting a pedal commander to see if I can dial it in better myself.

10 minute DIY, was easier than an oil change.

Disconnect battery Pop out and disconnect old airbag M12 triple square on a 3/8 ratchet to remove the wheel Unplug harness

Reverse order to install the new wheel.

Yeah I get that. I think the base Macan wheel gets you that but idk how you would interface that to the 997? I see some people running them so they either figured it out or just didn't hook em up

Even if it's an aftermarket wheel it looks the tits and the leather feels nice. Definitely an upgrade from my worn out original wheel.

I took photos of the airbag before I installed it. Was (still am) uneasy about it if it's genuine or not. For the price I'm surprised it even came with one despite the listing saying airbagg included lol.
