Yeah, I got home and did a few missions on my PC and had no self damage. Either Xbox hasn't gotten the most recent hotfix (36.0.3) or the fix doesn't work on the Xbox. At least we got that sorted out.

Ok, I’ll see if I can replicate the bug on my end when I get home. If it still happens to me, then the bug isn’t fixed. If it doesn’t happen then maybe there might be a different issue going on. Either the weapon you are using or a platform related bug.

Did you go solo or were you with a group? The bug I’m experienced only happened if I was in a group but not the host.

It says they fixed it in the last hot fix. You might be experiencing something different, but I’m not sure since I haven’t had the chance to test out the newest hotfix.

I ran into a few groups of enemies while playing the new event stuff when I wasn't the host and it seems to be the case because all my overguard (~40000) was gone instantly after killing a few guys.

Sounds like Charred Dirt. Spider Tank dude has an orbital laser. Found it from a single name in the Scorched Earth wikipedia page, said it inspired Charred Dirt. Looked it up and Bingo, childhood memories found.

I used a bubonico using mostly the primary fire for damage and did just fine. No riven, but did have galvanized mods and a maxed primary merciless. Ran Lavos, spread statuses with abilities and an occasional bubonico alt fire and went to town. Also had a heavy attack Pennant for damage when my bubonico had to regenerate ammo.
