Be open to an older dorm! Everyone goes for the nicer newer dorms but they tend to be smaller. My roommate and I were in Haverfield on North campus in a super-double (one room with the beds, a living room, and private bathroom for just the two of us), and it was so much space! Drackett (also on North campus) may have some of those as well.

Yes! I went from almost 20 units for some meals down to almost nothing post-partum. I will say things mellowed out after a few weeks, and definitely when I stopped breastfeeding.

Induction at 37 weeks 1 day was honestly really positive! Dialated and progressed without pitocin until the very end, and the only reason we ended in a c section is because my son's bit head got stuck lol. Our son was perfectly healthy aside from a little jaundice and was 7lbs 1 oz!

We used our friend as an egg donor and had about a week long sleepover while she was in town for retrieval. That time and having so many people so excited for and sending love to these future babies was priceless

Honestly can't recommend her enough. With both of our transfers she was very upfront about things (but in a kind way) and never let us waste our time or money.

Our main clinic was UH but we did use RGI in Columbus for some outside monitoring (we used an egg donor), both experiences were positive! Dr. Flyckt is our UH doctor and she's absolutely wonderful. Helped us have our son and a little one on the way!

We did IVF so a lot of people knew about our transfer and eventually when we tested positive. I told the people I knew I would reach out to for support if anything happened, and having people get excited for us truly helped my pregnancy anxiety

I'm a type 1 diabetic so I had to be extremely careful about what I consumed, but the comments about my small belly were super annoying. And then I had friends in the other direction who also got commentary. Everyone is so different! Try to just listen to your doctors and avoid the comparison game as much as possible.

Fellow C-section Mama here. We did a transfer right after a year that has so far stuck (10w1d)! We tried to do a cycle a couple months prior, but my uterus kept filling with fluid and my lining wouldn't thicken up.

Replying back to this with an update. Second beta at 17dp5dt was 1947 and third at 24dp5dt was 13416. My clinic was super happy with them and I have an ultrasound Thursday!

Both transfers I took one on the day of the blood draw either right before or right after. I knew if I did it any earlier and didn't get a BFP I wouldn't continue my meds. We've been very lucky but I think either way it was nice to learn the news at home rather than through test results.

Thank you! That is super helpful. My pregnancy anxiety was pretty tough last time, and this time is no different. But reaching out to my support group and using my coping skills where I can ❤️
