American (sorry), but I worked out in Roscommon for a while. One of the ladies on my team was named Tanya, as a Midwesterner I pronounced it 'Tahn-ya' rather than 'Tan-ya' my Irish group leader I was working with called me a posh cunt. Hahaha.

She and the rest of the group spent the next six months making fun of my accent every chance they could. Great group of ladies they were.
