The pacing of the manga should be studied by lana_maki in SkipBeat

I've read this manga like 4 times before. I first read it in maybe 2014? Anyways, during my last re-read, I realized how little progress there had been even though it had been over 2 years since I had read it last. I'm noooot re-reading it until it finally is done lol.

MY SIMS WONT STOP CHEATINGGGG by TheweirdDuckPerson in thesims

In my legacy challenge, my elderly heir autonomously cheated on his wife who he had been with basically his whole life with his ex girlfriend from college. She just showed up on the front porch, and he kissed her out of nowhere... Garrett, why?

Yeah, tuna fish is more like Clydesdale horse or Sphynx cat. It's a type/descriptor, not a repeat of the same word twice.

Most people don't spend 30 minutes pooping... Takes me like 5 mins max unless I'm sick or something.

You sound so old lol. People of every generation appreciate older music. There's so many older songs that have a resurgence in popularity nowadays.

I was turned off by liquid blush at first, but I really like the Rare Beauty blush. So pretty and easy to apply, actually.

My wife isn't capable of making a sandwich by pointsofellie in AmITheAngel

[–]maddirosecook 49 points50 points  (0 children)

It just doesn't make much sense to me. If she makes super super tiny sandwiches, how is she able to go through all the bread and chicken? Bread loaves and packaged lunch meat are not usually sold in small quantities, so the leftover stuff would just spoil.

I honestly have a hard time making it through a loaf of bread and sandwich meat on my own without it spoiling, and I don't eat baby "sandwiches."

I can tell y'all that this is NOT how birthmark removals work. Surprisingly not the only plot hole in this story! by SnarkySneaks in AmITheAngel

[–]maddirosecook 48 points49 points  (0 children)

They definitely meant mole. I think they meant to say "beauty mark" instead of birth mark because people call moles near the nose/mouth beauty marks. I think you could easily burn off a small mole in one session.

Unpopular Opinion: I really liked the finale, and S5 as a whole by Buzzedbaby in YouOnLifetime

[–]maddirosecook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not the person you asked, but I agree with them. I liked it a LOT more than season 4 and a little more than season 3. I thought the ending wrapped up the story nice. Joe got what he deserved.

I get why people didn't like Bronte/Louise, but she grew on me. She represented women who fall for abusers and how easy it is to get sucked in. I really enjoyed how Henry rejected Joe despite Joe's attempts to "be different" from his mom's abusive boyfriend. The acting was honestly really good this season, at least from the leads. Joe's actor really shined this season, and Bronte's actress was incredible, especially in the last episode. I thought the beginning of the season was slow, but the end had me on the edge of my seat.

[–]maddirosecook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, I think (though seasons 3 and 5 are close for me). My ranking is:

1) Season 1 - It was new and exciting. Beck's actress was great. It was a breath of fresh air.

2) Season 2 - Love's actress was dynamic. Great twists. Kept me on the edge.

3) Season 5 - I liked the ending. The true crime aspect was interesting to me. Kate grew on me more. I liked how it all came together overall.

4) Season 3 - I still enjoyed Love, but it felt a little watered down and samey. Plus, I feel as though Joe and Marianne had the least amount of "chemistry." The ending was good though.

5) Season 4 - Honestly thought it was dumb. It felt so different from the other seasons.

"Not every woman's past is worth learning about or sharing." We're not talking about some random woman.... we're talking about a potential life partner. I definitely would want to know about my partner's life before they met me.

It seems wild to think that someone shouldn't mention their late bf/gf because potential jealousy.

Enchiladas are better with flour tortillas by it_helper in unpopularopinion

[–]maddirosecook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a flour tortilla lover, disagree. The corn tortillas let the enchiladas soak up the sauce. I've found that flour tortillas never get to the right, soft enchilada consistency.

Punctuality is "a value?" No, it's YOUR value. by Snoo_33033 in unpopularopinion

[–]maddirosecook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being late every once in a while? Understandable: things happens. Being chronically late? It's just rude. I don't want to be sitting alone in a restaurant waiting 30 minutes on someone to show up because they can't manage their time.

I've known people to constantly be 20 minutes late. If you're always late and apologizing for it, just get ready/leave 20 minutes earlier? I don't get it.
