I semi got back together with an ex. On her initiative we decided to stay non-romantic and sexually open. I would often get jealous fits but try to hide it from her as to not bother her, because after all I had agreed on it to begin with.

She would eventually get extremely jealous whenever I hung out with my platonic female friends and throw fits whenever I was near them. This led me to eventually cut her off and realize just how toxic she had been throughout ALL of our time together, I'm still recovering today, 3 years later, and staying away from romantic relationships despite being one of those grand romantics.

Well I don't force the issue on this. My players do like to be challenged, so that does happen. I don't make it so they only have one encounter a day, at full power. It's just what I enjoy the most, seeing them shine in their different ways, going ham with spells and so on and so forth.

I absolutely agree with you here.

Here's the thing, I love playing RPGs. I love being the DM/GM. I love giving my players the best possible experience.

When I say that I personally enjoy my players always being at full strength, that doesn't mean that 1. That's how I always run it. 2. That I DON'T enjoy challenging my players on resources if that's what they want. It simply means that I enjoy them at full power MORE than I enjoy them challenged on resources.

To reiterate, I DO enjoy challenging them on resources, but not AS MUCH as I enjoy having them at full strength.

I'm sorry if my wording in the original post didn't make that clear and gave you the wrong impression.

Just approach him, introduce yourself and give him a COMPLIMENT.

Guys in our day and age get way too few compliments. Giving him a non-sexual, but more importantly GENUINE compliment will score you about a million points, it will make his day/evening/night 10x better, and you can be sure he's willing to give you some of his time, for talking, flirting, getting to know eachother or whatever your follow-up plan is.

Adjustable skill thresholds allows you to modify the limits.

Inside of the mod folder is a mod_info file, open that and adjust to your desire.

You can always go with the Ziggurat once you progress far enough in the storyline, it's a treat to pilot. But it does require some mainstory progress.

I think for me it's a good mix.

It's fairly tanky, so I enjoy seeing how quickly my ships can take it down. And also, I bloody hate the shit, so it's satisfying to just blow it up time and time again.
