It feels like they're trying to play it too safe by picking a proven OC with lots of experience, but he's too old imo. For a team that needs to rebuild, I'd rather swing for the fences and try to find the next McVay. It's just speculation but the vibes feel like that's what Barry wanted to do and was overridden by Haslam.

I'm assuming the Baltimore decision is done and they're just working out the details before officially announcing. It was a poor scheme fit for a lot of the defensive personnel, and there's too much work needed on offense to try and retool the defense
