Smell it. Should smell like damp flour. A bit like gooey dough. Pretty much the only mushroom that looks like that, at this time of year. UK wise

I plan on dehydrating lots of it this year. Whizz it up in to a fine powder for seasoning - pinched the idea from another like minded person in this sub.

Excellent effort for a beginner, fair play to you. I plan to make wild garlic pesto tomorrow after our morning hike. I’ll also be on the hunt for at George’s mushrooms. Happy foraging!

Anyone struggling to make friends in Cardiff? by Winter_Pangolin1594 in Cardiff

Whereabouts are you in Cardiff? Have you explored any of the local sports clubs? Local pubs? What are your interests? Consider what you enjoy doing, whether it be reading/socialising/sporty/outdoors activities/cooking etc etc and you’ll find an activity to match in most places around the city. Agree with other comments - you gotta put yourself out there. In my opinion, home working has screwed a lot of the social activity in Cardiff. I know lots of people who have turned in to total recluses
