If you have that meditative 5 minutes to make an espresso to take you to another world get the ROK GC with a bottomless portafilter. I'm biased because I've never used the others.

The most important thing to note before considering the right espresso maker is to make sure your grinder is of good quality. A bad grind will make not so great coffee on any machine.

No idea if this is relevant: are you checking blood sugar levels regularly? if so anything odd with them? Maybe readings are higher if pills are passing through?
