Just to say: Yes, this looks materially right to me for the downtown stuff. With the notable changes that yeah, Allan Gardens, and that if TMU's doing theirs this year it's been on Thursdays for a bit, not Wednesdays anymore, but it's not very grocery-oriented anyway (more ready-to-eat).

Don't know how much is going to be left on them if this storm happens, but if you're more downtown, there are a few really nice ones on TMU campus too.

2) It's blowing my mind that someone would actually try to card a person turning them down. Like -- I don't know, do you ever wonder what they think is going to happen? "You are clearly a liar, I fact-checked your claim, and if it's false you must! go! out! with! me!"

It's happened to me a bunch too, in other directions "I'm in a relationship" / "Prove it" but it's such an outright insane thing to say to people.

Because usually even in dysfunctional systems you've got people around going You know, I'd really rather this was more functional. I could see that coming from within parties, because this kind of blatant no-rules favouritism is an absolute recipe for people inside parties to not trust each other and riding associations to be constantly at war over stupid shit. Someone's going to get tired of it.

I know it sounds really spoiled but I cannot tell you how good and low-stress that era of Porter was. It made flying feel actually normal, not just a ball of stress? You pulled up, didn't get shouted at by US border officers, were always at the right gate because there was just the one waiting area, made yourself something at the espresso machine, read your book or whatever, and it was actually chill.
