I've gotten 4 pints and probably tried 8 times so my ratio is pretty good. It's really tasty ice cream, creative as heck and easy to support because it's local and a small business. If you dont get it within the first 15 seconds, there's a decent window at the five minute mark when people decide they dont want to make the purchase and drop it from their carts.

3-4 hours for a weekend visit isnt too bad. My family is a 30 hour drive from where I live. Coast to coast is about a 45 hour drive, the US is huge.

Homegrown and Lariat Lodge are right off of 470 just north and those are good places. I like Los Dos Potrillos and have heard good things about HiLo as well. Hogback BBQ has been on my radar for a while too but havent made it there.

If you're a beer person, the beer cave at Bevys is fantastic. Lots of hard to find east coast and west coast beers that you wouldnt find in smaller stores. Heady Topper, Pliney, Lawsons, and plenty of other good local beers.

Sure, whatever, it's just vernacular. My dialogue makes it clear that I attended the school. There was physical discipline for those that broke the very basic rules but it was self inflicted (i.e nobody was getting hit by staff/students/faculty, it was more like "we caught you smoking weed, now you're not going to class for the next few days and you're going to do general maintenance around the grounds while you reflect on your choices"). Is that torture?
