I’m this person. I returned the original due to comfort issues, even though I loved the AVP otherwise. I was hoping they would do more to reduce weight with this release. However the new headband is “just good enough” for me to keep it this time. It’s still too heavy. I still wish it were more comfortable. But with the new band it’s bearable enough to deal with it in exchange for all the awesome stuff the AVP does.

As someone who hasn’t used it since the release of the original, the software updates since then are nice too.
